I've had a pair of Matter Pro Pants for about 4 years now, I've been really happy with them, Sometimes i've often though they were too tight, but the guys at Matter in Empuria measured me up, so they must be right. 'Freejive' have done this in the British Nationals for the last few years, They fly together head up and one docks one foot either side of the other guys hips, then transition into one flat and one head-down. Although this years Artistic Nationals had a lower attendance than last year, the standard of flying was extremely high! I think the Compulsory rounds in Freefly B worked very well, What feedback does anyone else have about the competition? What could be inproved for next year? It's the 4th Place score of the last World Championsips, So from Brazil's results the criteria is... Freefly - 54.9 Freestyle Male - 41.3 Freestyle Femala - 53.3 Skysurf Male - 48.1 Skysurf Female - 48.6 Then there's this from the rules.... 31. Minimum Criteria for Funding All championship teams who accept the invitation to compete at the World Championships 2006 will be eligible, subject to availability, for funding by the BPA if they meet a standard equivalent to 4th place* at the 2004 World Championships: EITHER the BPA Nationals 2005 (in which they must qualify as the national champion team for the chosen World Championships Event) OR, after the Nationals, at another FAI Cat 1 event at which the national champion team only may be re-considered for funding, again subject to availability, against the same standard as above. The intention is to encourage our best teams to represent our country and gain experience at Class A FAI events. * The fourth place score is simply a benchmark that will be carefully assessed by the Committee in the light of its policy to seek to provide, subject to availability, financial assistance to UK teams that show a real commitment to world-class performance and demonstrate a convincing and realistic prospect of winning a medal at the next WPC. Funds provided by the BPA will be distributed at regular intervals by the BPA with proof of planned expenditure required and supported by receipts after the expenditure. Funds may be used only to cover costs towards training jumps and coaching. Funds will not be allocated for expenses. This weekend (6th-8th August 2005) Are the British National Championships in Artistics, which includes Freefly, Freestyle and Skysurf. There are 2 categories in each discipline 'A' and 'B', 'A' is for the senior teams that have their FF2 qualification and the winners will be the British Champions and should they reach the criteria, they will be recieve funding from the BPA to represent us in the 2006 World Championships. The 'B' category's for people with their FF1, it's not only fun, it's a great learning experience and with the new complusory rounds it will help teams that wish to carry on to the 'A' Category in the future. We're hoping that Freejive will get funding this year, depending on how many teams enter, determines just how much money will be available to them, the more we support the Nationals, the more funding the team(s) can get!
