Now for some good beers, I live in St. Louis and there's 2 excellent micro brews here, Morgan St. Brewery and Schlafly bottling works. I was in a similar situation, except at my DZ i did three tandems, and just completed my first TAF (basically AFF, but one JM). If you are going to have to repeat due to weather and $$$ i would recommend doing the AFP, this way you'll have most of the winter to think about it. Yes, it was a 141, they did have the blue seats facing backwards and stacked on top of each other. but we had a real cool load master that popped one of the benches down and let us stretch out on it for a nap. if i remember correctly the benches were an orange color and there was orange cargo netting for the backrests. After 3 Tandems and the FJC, i finally made my first (i owe BEER!!) Accelerated Free Fall yesterday (One Instructor). Let me start by telling you that it was SO AWESOME!!! but i had a couple of problems. I freaked on the exit and didnt get a good arch, but we leveled out to the horizon just fine. Great AA but I need to learn to keep my legs extended! And at 6k i forgot to wave off. Deployment was just fine. Its just another unbelievable feeling to basically be in control. I love this sport mor and more everytime i go to my DZ. Thanks to all at Quantum Leap and Larry, Bobby and Mark for being excellent instructors and thanks to the guys and gals on my load for helping calm me down on the ride up. 2 weeks till level 2.
