What's about my feathers? Could you kindly include a poor German into your efforts? Only few millions would be enough for me... And you know, we have the right to ask an old member of our British family dudeist skydiver # 3105

Hmmmmm, that sounds quite familiar to me: Wasn't it just his job?? Or a soldier (rank? don't know!) is supposed to do? Correct me, if I am wrong. There is something important on what he said: It sounds true! That is not that common. dudeist skydiver # 3105

Oh man, thats horrible! Why that ? dudeist skydiver # 3105

Hey Tunaplanet, I opened my eyes, as I am old enough for that. And since I entered this site, wow: I learned so much! How could you know that I'm liberal? I am not, but with a big touch of green and a big interest in liberals' policy. What you call old saying "there are no winners in war" is hackneyed. Nonsens. There were too many wars, I feel sure none of us wants another one, right? OK, let me just talk for Europe. BTW: WWII is not in question here, right? We should neglect that one dudeist skydiver # 3105

Pls excuse if I dare to correct the above, just seen from my side of the big big water: That probably was lame, but much more it was repeating what GBW said many times in TV, something wrong with our German TV? My ears? dudeist skydiver # 3105

What, in detail, does it need to become an officer in the US Navy.." ? Would you kindly explain to an alien? Upon your above post, I really do not like to assume. Just re-read your posts: There is no clear explanation, or did I miss something? Or am I wasting my time with this question, Mr. J.? dudeist skydiver # 3105

It really matters. And not only for our kids; I am not only a mother, I am egoistic too and would prefer to see strongest regulations on environmental laws during my life times, would love to enjoy healthy world wherever it's possible. One fine day, nature will strike back. And if it's only that mother nature is giving up. This will be our end. I'm sure about that . dudeist skydiver # 3105

How can you state something like that! ? GWB now will look like a liar, don't you know? Holy Moses! dudeist skydiver # 3105

Wow, my system can do this? Me too? Holy Moses, what a bunch of chances will I have Where's a will, there's a bush... How do I have to understand that one? I'm artless dudeist skydiver # 3105

Please, do not talk about what I presume, OK? You simply cannot know. But I never would presume something dirty like "....using their death (of children) ...." Oh, go away with that, John Rich. That's absolutely not my style and surely not yours! I wrote: "Under these circumstances..." and my post on that was expressing my opinion of missing some kind of taste/feeling in this moment, the horror with the children had just begun, it was in my eyes tasteless to use such an example. BTW: Even w/o this awful incident in Beslan, I would consider such an "illustration" regarding a school class as tasteless, as well! Explosives and guns? Not my obsession. Yours? The Fibinator -- Arnold's Misrepresentation of History
christelsabine replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
*** ... a liar?... Everybody gets what he deserves I think Arnie-You'vGotANiceShop-Schwarzenegger just adjusted to facts given The 2nd (?) movie star taking over an outstanding political position in the US, oh dear Lord And now he entered same class like MM: sh**t in his own nest OMG what else will come? dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
Yup! This is well known and somehow strange! Surely there is more to complaint about beginning with mostly lousy weather but, in August? Mainly it's OK. Plastic bags? This is big deal here: Not too many years ago, it was quite usual just to pick up a plastic bag and..leave. Today: It's the industry requesting money from the shops, simply the end user has to pay for that! I think, we are the only poor fools in Western Europe. I never saw it somewhere else. Damned techniques: But that's international ! In Disneyland Paris it happend to my son and me: can you imagine the folks behind us, waiting since hours in the summer heat, and stupid mom was unable to move the turnstile ? dudeist skydiver # 3105

*** Ok, so you appease the criminal and give him your wallet...what do you do when he wants.... ....your body? ....your child's body? ....your life? ....your child's life? *** It is impossible to give one good answer on all. We -and with that "we" I mean the Germans itself, or let's say, the normal Europeans, too - use to live w/o a permanent expectation of attacks, permanent menace. Use to live w/o weapons. Oh yes, we are facing murder cases, the worst you can imagine, the full range of criminal cases... but it is not considered as a daily, permanent danger to be expected behind every next corner. Not even in big cities' downtowns. We have our own rate on that cases. For sure. And for sure is, that the average citizen is living a normal life w/o any need for hand guns etc. That's all I can tell you on that without writing a complete book. We never can solve this difference between your and (our) my mental attitude on that by just asking/answering in a forum like that. You/we live in our ways since too many decades. My view on that -even I own weapons - in your eyes seems to be so far beyond imagination........ Your view on that is doing same for mine. It slightly is getting off-topic, right? So, to come back to the thread: How is it possible that such a question - if Kerry is a hunter, a good one or not - could be any argument for voters? What does it tell to the world if he is killing the deer with 1 or more bullets? Does this tell me anything about his political capability? Our Mr. Schroder was married several times: I do not mind. In my eyes he is not the best chancellor we ever had but, I don't mind if he was a lousy husband: The way he acts in his job for Germany and the world around us, that is important, that's counting, nothing else. Democrat = secular, Republican = religious
christelsabine replied to sunman's topic in Speakers Corner
That is an interesting point which I do not consider as "trolling" (right word ?), as it's been discusssed here in my world several times: The close combination (showed by) Bush to the Church (itself). How sincere is that? I personally have my doubts on that somehow as on me, it has a certain unreal effect. Like a "show" for the body of electors Kerry is not using this tool. (I didn't see or probably missed it) Watching Bush's efforts on that reminds me on our "black" Christian Bavarian premier. Doing the same for catching voters by presenting a healthy, clean washed and deeply believing family, friends, world.... In my eyes: only demonstrating something (And after church, folks are entering the next village pub to discuss important things of the world with some litres of Bavarian strong beer ) Surely, they will hang me like Tom Dooley upon reading that In conclusion: Atheists or non-religious people in my opinion would not mainly vote for Bush. The same transferred to Germany would mean: they will not go for Stoiber (the white poodle ) OK, it's your election time, so decide on that with or w/o the church. Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
No, actually you were not insulting anyone, my comment was much more like kidding you It simply was my experience: Most people I know disliked that movie . This was not question of actual elections in the US, just noticed there is a man shitting in his own nest, making money with that . And after a certain time, that movie got boring..... Beer of Cologne is delicious and basic foodstuffs! And we have so many various beers... Of course, Cologne is showing much more than this When "did you end" here to Koln? Just curious (even it's a little off-topic ? ) Cheers, Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105

Seems, like somebody beyond the great pond doesn't know that people in the EU have their own head to carry a brain To be honest, we (family + friends) saw MM's clumsy work and I was not the only one asking why this movie was price-winning. I'm not entering into details (which from time to time were quite interesting and unknown to me), the "movie" itself only was a summary of fragments. In my (our) eyes, wasted time and wasted money and unbelievable, that it was price-winner over here Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105

What does it mean to win the "War on Terror"?
christelsabine replied to narcimund's topic in Speakers Corner
Would you help me out there before I proceed reading your complete post? My problem: Already at watching a.m. chart, I had to stop and started pondering over the "more than $2B to Spain" given by the US.... Where is shown that US "gave" that amount to Spain in 2003 ??? dudeist skydiver # 3105 -
What is to be read there? Not exactly my mother language or one of the few others, I learned... dudeist skydiver # 3105

How deep, I mean, living in this planet? Sorry, off-topic! dudeist skydiver # 3105

I very much like to agree to few words in your above sentence, guess which? dudeist skydiver # 3105

That's not the worst way to a better world... I'm not here to look for agreements to my opinions. Continentals are open-minded, or why do you think so many Europeans enter this site? And referring to your posts: I enjoy + read many of them and just see a red line on which I made my own personal judgement. Did you ever discuss any news in a (Continental) European site? I can tell you, having a view on both sides of a medal, is opening one's mind dudeist skydiver # 3105

Who is "They" ? Who is "their" ? Your reply sounds a little generalized dudeist skydiver # 3105

Such statement just leaves worst impressions and shows worst assessment (of yourself and the east/west comparison), not to talk about worst education. Incredible to read such low level comment in the 21st century. Based upon my own experiences with North Americans I do hope this is an exceptional case. dudeist skydiver # 3105

I think you misunderstood something here: He was not talking about the families of killed NYFDs, NYPDs but, much more about the other side, the suicide bombers, please re-read his previous post

.50 caliber target rifles: "These high-power weapons of war can destroy a helicopter from a mile away!" RC aircraft: "These precision-guided remotely-operated aircraft can deliver a lethal payload of high explosives sufficient to wipe out an elementary school classroom full of children!" Isn't that nice, here comes John Rich again with the absolute necessary information, what it needs "to wipe out an elementary school classroom full of children!" You are the man, the man with the knowledge! Calibres, explosives: Every thread has its direct connections to those details. You will find them, no doubt. Disgusting, especially on present circumstances. Every dollar spent on a useless feelgood security "precaution" is a dollar less that is available for real security. John Rich is right, strange as that may seem *** OK, tried hard but: understoood. dudeist skydiver # 3105
