  1. I'm glad that you can find humor in having your personal credibility destroyed in front of the eyes of all who are present here. JohnRich, whatever you believe in: Feel free. You live in the land of the free, so.. go ahead. I will be in your beautifuly country within next 2 months, and nothing will stop me from enjoying it. Cya, Christel dudeist skydiver # 3105
  2. Well known all over the planet I always thought this is a myth as I am a reasonable person but, since I read DZ.com and some post(er)s over here... The longer they talk... (about weapons) LMAO It seem to fit? ROFLMAO I didn't realize that bigotry was so humorous. Maybe I should try it sometime. "A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity." - Sigmund FreudLMAO It seem to fit? ROFLMAO JohnRich, if you feel it was adressed to you, that's your problem. It was not. I don't think it was a personal thing at all. He's saying, quite correctly, that it's inappropriate to mock people who compensate for their sexually inadequacy by playing with guns and/or cigars. Show a little sensitivity, please. OK, will try my best to be good. Please let me repeat: It was not personally adressed to anyone, as I only met few DZ.com posters. I should have given it a title: To Whom It May Concern. Now I'm on my way to the cellar to laugh..... dudeist skydiver # 3105
  3. The populations of New York and Chicago (29 million combined) are in fact equal to about one-third of the entire population of Germany. And that is according to the "82 millions" that christelsabine quotes, which also corresponds to my Almanac. Quote That, you should have told your water-carrier Craddock before he was playing the fool for you, Holy Moses, LMAO Man, some Americans just are too funny... dudeist skydiver # 3105

  5. JohnRich, there were too many posters calling the Germans/or Germany still beeing Nazi. You do not really expect me looking for all of these posts? In fact, I don't want, it's not worth any effort at all. Spend your time on whatever you like, mine is too precious to look for such a BS. dudeist skydiver # 3105
  6. That's the population of Chicago and New York, which you claim are awash in civilian gun carry, because you saw three people doing it. Again, just to clarify: We are talking about the total population of Chicago and NYC?? It's not really important, just to know. Correct. What was so confusing about the way I said it last time? Perhaps you are incredulous because those two U.S. cities alone are equal to about one-third of the entire population of your Germany. Dear JohnRich, there's something wrong in your calculation. But, to say it in short words: I don't mind. Calculate whatever you like. "One-third of Germany", boy, LMAO dudeist skydiver # 3105
  7. I met a couple of Arabs at a party in Abu Dhabi several years ago that felt that Hitler's biggest mistake was not completely eradicating all the Jews. This was at a time when the Arabs were trying to eradicate each other. Holy Moses, with that kind of thinking the world very soon will be a plain, empty desert as everybody is killing everybody and cockroaches will party all night and day long There are more Nazi under different flags than I ever thought And there are still Americans, calling Germans Nazi. Lord, help them. Yes, thank you Lord, I need all the help I can get, and please convince Christel that I did not call or infer that the German people are Nazis Sorry, Rickjump1, this was not adressed to you personally. There still are many posters from the US calling us Nazi. The today's Germany has nothing to do with this. Let me repeat, I did not want to to accuse you in that regards.
  8. Six of one, half dozen of the other. Guns and cigars can both represent psychological compensation for the same physical inadequacy. 9. Yeah, you're right. We should just let the Muslims throw all those damn Jews into the sea, wiping them all out. Then the Muslims would love us once again. Peace, at last! 10. I don't understand. Doesn't a man have as much right as to what happens to his body as I do? Doesn't he get to choose what he wants? Are you saying that a woman has more rights to their body than a man does? I'm really not sure I understand what you're saying, Chuck. You are focussed on the "rights" too much. Men only can do one thing in same time. If one part of body is busy, the rest ist sleeping.... f.e. brain, fighting for rights etc. LMAO, you are too funny.
  11. OK. Thx. Understood. dudeist skydiver # 3105

  14. As I said before, 2 men leaving the taxi behind me. Normal dressed, jackets were open like men use to do when sitting down in a car. While removing luggage from the taxi, I saw their handguns, both in holsters on the hip. No shoulder strap to be seen. The singly (young) guy I saw walked by while my taxi was waiting at a red light in a long row. He corrected the position of his hand gun stuck in his belt/jeans somewhere between belly and hip, while walking and pulled the sweater over it again. I was starring at him and same moment he looked me straight into the eyes, did not stop for a second, was not surprised to have an observer, just walked by. That's it. In both cases, I was not scared for a moment, only surprised somehow. dudeist skydiver # 3105

  16. Two men in Chicago leaving a taxi behind me. Another on in NY in the street. I still trust my eyes. Call it BS, I don't care. You think that Chicago and New York are awash in civilians carrying guns because you've seen *three* instances of this? Gosh, what a fine representative sample. Three out of 29 million people! With statistical analysis like that, you can "prove" anything at all... Heck, they might even have been plain-clothes cops or federal agents. 29 millions? About which and how many cities are you talking? Anyhow, 3 men in 2 weeks within a population of about 11 millions, could but must not be any sample at all. But as I don't walk with my head in the clouds, I have some doubts. OK, I have to confess I didn't feel any anxiety during that weeks. Just to have a look on my small Germany with about 82 millions: I never saw anyone walking in the streets armed with handguns in more than 20 yrs, not to mention the many countries I travelled and lived in. Perhaps you are right, these men were Fed agents in disguise... But again, I have some doubts... dudeist skydiver # 3105
  17. He is where you little argument falls to shit. Both were wounded....BUT The guy in the Helicopter case was trying to SURENDER. The guy shot by the Marine was still trying to FIGHT. That makes the difference...And it is A BIG difference. One was a wounded man trying to get aid, the other was a wounded man that was still a PRESENT THREAT. Hahahaha, funny you, Ron. With those arguments you intend to make Botelline's stinking? Try again, that was too lousy. The half dead Iraqi was a "present thread". It's just too sad to laugh but, I'd like to reply LMAO. dudeist skydiver # 3105
  18. then: Three men in two of the biggest cities in the country? That constitutes "every Joe in the street?" With numbers that small, it could just be that you saw three police officers who were off duty. Quote Seen from that point of view, I have to agree. Seen from the other, that I only spent each one week in the cities, it looks a little different. For me it sounds not that good to watch 3 men equipped with handguns w/in 2 weeks. All my life I never met anyone armed with any weapon outside a shooting range, a hunting area or my hunting shop. dudeist skydiver # 3105
  19. I saw them in NYC. I saw them in Chicago. I'm calling "bullshit" on this one, christelsabine. It's against the law to carry guns in both of those places. You wouldn't have seen people carrying them around openly in those cities. Those two cities have some of the toughest laws against guns in the entire nation. Two men in Chicago leaving a taxi behind me. Another on in NY in the street. I still trust my eyes. Call it BS, I don't care. dudeist skydiver # 3105
  20. Ok, das ist alles fur mir. Once again it comes down to culture. Your culture isn't one of shooting and being around weapons. The US (especially in the south and TX) is, so its really hard to compare your childhood and experiences with how it happens over here. Just like how really different our cultures are otherwise, with firearms its still just as different. Pefekt Agreed to the rest. And admit that I am looking forward to a nice hunt starting at May 15 on deer with my new Mauser98, cal. 30.06 dudeist skydiver # 3105
  21. Bow hunting was brought up to show you how rediculous your statement is. Although I know you will never quite understand that. For instance, weapons near kids reminds me of my childhood. My dad taught me to shoot, at a pretty young age. He started me with a pellet rifle, then a .22, then on from there. From a young age I learned proper safety and handling. It has made me a much safer person overall in my life. It also "gun proofed" me as a child. I knew what to do around a weapon if a friend had one, or had gotten one from somewhere. It also taught me a strong respect of weapons, not fear as you seem to have, but a true respect. I guess I shouldn't mention that since I had a good weekend and made a little extra money I was able to go to the range today...although I was only able to afford to shoot 200rds today. Atleast I got to shoot my .45. Interesting to read. I really can follow your ideas of enjoying your rounds. Whenever I have the chance, I do it by myself, too.
  22. Where were you when you saw so many people with guns? Other than in very rural areas, I've never seen anyone outside there own home with a gun, and that's here in Texas. I saw them in NYC. I saw them in Chicago. I read their proud statements on DZ.com talking about that they always carry a handgun daily. Check by yourself. It seems to be normal for them like for me beeing equipped with my mobile and the car key. dudeist skydiver # 3105
  23. ??? Never heard before. Could you kindly explain "background checks..." for the average Joe are what? Thx. dudeist skydiver # 3105
  24. So you never went hunting until you were 21? You don't think people under the age of 21 should hunt with firearms? Only bow hunting? 1) No. I was older. Over here, "kids" below 21 have the chance to apply for youth hunting license, or enter the shooting club where they can shoot with a sports license thing. So, they only would be able to purchase sport shooting weapons. 2) In fact, your reply is nonsens. My post at 1st has nothing to do with bow hunting, which is dangerous as well as shooting, and at 2nd MY question now is: Where do you draw the line at kids? You know, near kids really means: near kids. And not hunters below 21 yrs. dudeist skydiver # 3105
  25. As I have guns, am a hunter, I am not "against". But weapons of every kind should never take place somewhere in private like f.e. a bar, a restaurant, near kids etc.... For hunting purposes, it's OK. You "never quite understood...". OK. Accepted. Like me, I never understood that easy going way to handle guns/handguns for every Joe in the street like it's done in the US. In fact we do not understand each other's point of view. Perhaps it needs time. dudeist skydiver # 3105
