Yes, JohnRich, I have my principles. Even they might be based on my own subjective opinions. Killing the "Big Five" is nothing I'd ever like to do. I had and will have chances for hunting them. But never ever would be able to kill a lion, f.e. Killing such a beautiful, powerful animal like a bear also would be impossible to me. I just was happy to see one from a distance some weeks ago while visiting Canada. I have no problems of killing bambi. Or its mother. No, first his mother.... Not at all. That might explain I am simply biased. Perhaps as we do not have those wonderful creatures like a Black Bear in our little country. Perhaps as I just follow the hunting regulations in my hunting area, where a certain number of animals has to be shot. Perhaps as bambi and his mother are to be found everywhere here. But not a single bear. I fully noted that hunting this bear was allowed in that place. So I have to give up discussing this matter as I have no arguments. What do you have to pay for shooting a bear?
