See if you can find the book called "Parachuting: A Skydiver's Handbook" by Dan Poynter. From what I'm told, it's like the Bible for skydivers. I read it myself a few weeks ago, and it probably had 30ish pages devoted solely to the history of skydiving. Lisa, I started playing about a year ago, you'll be amazed at how fast you learn. The hardest part of learning to play the guitar is the first month or so...if you can stick with it past that, the rest comes pretty naturally. Haha...I have dug myself such a deep hole by making the "Kramer" ID on here. Honest to God I never saw you on here until after I had started posting. I'll have you all know that I am not even thinking of cutting my hair until I get down there, in hopes that I can frey it up like the real Kramer. Being a pretty hard-core republican, who has only 5 skydives, it may surprise you to know that I'm actually going to have to say the DZ.com boogie. Sure, it'd be cool to meet him, but he's just a guy like everyone else. So would I rather hang out with someone who has the same politial views as I do, or a group of people who enjoy the same sport as I do?
