  1. lol, cuervo strikes again, hahahah! Those are great pix! Looks like you had a good time, Missy! Miss you, girl, can't wait to see ya in Pahokee for my 100th! Angela .
  2. This was an AFF1 referral. I thought i'd get the ticket for the referral once the person paid AFF1, but they had to finish the AFF program (all of the levels). I assume if the person had paid the 1300$ up front they would have given me the ticket. I thought it was for the AFF1, though, not that the entire course had to be completed. this was just my understanding, it was not clear or I just made an assumption. I just think it should be made clear that the person referring the jumper doesn't get a ticket until after the whole program is completed. Angela.
  3. Well, you know Tom Petty's "Learning to Fly" :) angela.
  4. I agree, it is good business. I did bring an AFFL1 student, you should make it clear in advance, though, that you don't give the jump ticket until the student graduates AFF, because it was not made clear to me until after I had brought the student. No bother, I still got the ticket,... just a little later than i'd expected is all:) Take care & happy holidays to you all up in Sebastian!:) Angela.
  5. Hi, Missy. I had no idea you had 50 jump already, that's great! You are an addict! lol! Some people pick up canopy skills more quickly than others. Your instructors have seen you land for the last 50 jumps since you've only been jumping at one dz, .. ask them what they think. You can also e-mail Scott Miller and ask him what he thinks about your progress and when you'll likely be ready to try double front risers. I just started playing with them and I have 80 jumps. I am only doing double fronts so far, it is a different view of the ground coming at you. You go a bit faster, etc. Don't worry, you'll get there. Take care:) Angela.
  6. This is a funny thread! I have to say that jumpnkramer is probably going to win this kramer competition... I haven't Kramer2, but definitely think this is going to be a predictable contest. Have fun on your aff, Kramer2:) Angela.
  7. merry x-mas!! I have played on and off for ten years and I still suck. I take looong breaks sometimes, but i've been playing a little bit lately. However, I know i'll never really be good, it would've happened by now. :p Peter is really good:) Angela.
  8. Well, by default, i'd choose #1... but really, I don't have a sex partner of my dreams. I dunno, for me at least, I have to meet someone and talk to them at least, before I can even consider that we'd be compatible/good in bed together. I can't name one star or hot stud that I really lust for. i suppose I won't vote cuz i'd rather have sex with my bf than either of these choices. But, for the record, i'd rather go to the dz.com boogie than meet GWB. Angela.
  9. Agreed! I actually have an NES and Zelda. I had posted on another forum asking if anyone had one, and a guy was nice enough to send me the system and his games. I played it and beat again not too long ago. I love that game! Angela.
  10. Yeah, i've been to a few dzs who will award a jump ticket for Tandems. I think that it is a great policy and a motivator for bringing people in. Not that I mind bringing people or recommending the dz I jump at, it's just i'll try harder if it means i'm getting a jump ticket for it. Angela
  11. Ok, the jump will be on the January 3rd... Can I get someone to video for me? ? There's gotta be some cool freeflyer out there willing to video my 100th jump Thanks all, can't wait to see you guys in the sky at Pahokee! Angela.
  12. ROFL! You are f-ing hilarious! lol! Now I can drive home with a smile:) Thanks guys! :) Angela.
  13. wow! So many good looking skydivers, you are all so beautiful! :) Yoshi, .. I like your apartment! :) Angela.
  14. ok! (hehe... little do they know my signature means jack sh*t! lol! ) Angela.
  15. Is it tradition to be wearing your rig while being pied? If it is, i'm sure it is also tradition for the pie-ee to kick the pie-er in the balls, right? ok, really, rig must stay clean. I don't want to be pied, but, if I am, please, leave the poor rig out of this! Angela.
  16. Thanks, babe! I wish you were here, I hope one day you'll be in Fla for the weekend and we can meet up! :D Have fun in Eloy! BP, um, I am budgeting big time to afford to make the 20 needed jumps this month... so, unfortunatly, can't fly you out, lol! However, it is realllly nice here in Fla,... you sure you don't wanna just spend your own cash and come visit?! Angela.
  17. LOL!! You are TOO funny! I know it is sad... but i've never been on a track dive. I certainly could not lead one. I cannot track all that fast or anything and have not tried with success to stay with anyone, so since i'm not practiced, probly not a good idea.:( If you wanna do a track dive before then, we'll see how it goes. I don't want to make my 1st track dive on my 100th and get all pissed off cuz I suck so badly, lol! But, if you wanna come freefly, lets do it! :D Angela.
  18. Thanks, Missy! I'm so glad you'll come out! It is likely it will be that weekend rather than new years day, that way I don't have to worry about working the next day after I get wasted, and no one else will, either
  19. Well, in only 5 short months of skydiving, I am approaching jump #100!! ... so, what should I plan? I can make this jump by New Years day or the weekend following. I am getting pretty good at sit-fly and I think I will be able to dock in the next 20 jumps. So, who wants to come jump with me in Pahokee for my 100th? I am hoping to get a good yet safe # of freeflyers up there with me. btw, of course, there will be beer! Angela. (please, no pie 4 me... Rig parapak and nice n clean n purple... wanna keep it dat way, k? )
  20. I have made 80 jumps in not yet 5 months. I plan to hit 100 by new years, yippee!! :D Angela.
  21. Yeah, I know, after seeing a couple incidents, i'm a bit wary to go w/o shoes again. .. That said, I went without shoes only once, I had already done 4 jumps that day and was really confident in landing super softly. I thought the feel was awesome, though the newness kinda disturbed my concentration on keeping a fast and steady sit-fly. It was neat, tho. But, my landing, even though seemingly soft, could still have been softer on bare feet. If it doesn't bother you landing on bare feet, and you can accept the possible consequences, then go for it! Angela
