    fast vs slow I do believe. Maybe that was too general. In the air up high, yank down on one of your front riser loops hard and quick, you'll 'hook' the canopy. Now, plane out, and grab the riser loop and slowly bring it down,... that is a carve. This is my understanding. Angela.

    I consider someone a skydiver if they finish complete AFF. I think that so many people only do one jump, or a couple, and give up and don't come back. I don't think you're a skydiver just because you did a tandem or two. Until your life is in your hands out there, you're a student. there was one chick in Sebastian who has done like 100 tandems. I still don't consider her a skydiver. She is a passenger who likes a thrill,... kinda like a carnival goer. jmo. Angela.

    Seems like a good majority offer jump tickets for referrals:) I think that's really cool. I will ask my dz this weekend if they plan to do any such thing:p I think I could kick some good advertising out at my college! You know what also might be a cool idea... have flyers with 10$ off coupons and your name on them. Give out a bunch of 'em, and whichever come in, you get a 10$ account credit for and the person gets 10$ off the tandem.. win win situation! :D Angela

I hate to say that about someone you love, but I think she's being very selfish about this whole thing. You found something you love to do... she should be happy for you!! Why, yes,.. I do believe it does! So, in times like these, you have to go for regular pop with the ben n jerry's! hmm, . . I think I might get me suma that! Can't wait to see you soon, girl! You could always come out n play in Pahokee before my 100th. . It only takes an hour from us, you can come out, make a couple/few jumps if that's all you've got $$ for, hang with cool peeps, then go home and eat ben n jerry's! :D I'll be out there every weekend this month. see ya soon, chick!     I think that was a solids of revolutions problem, I did ok on those. Thanks for your help:) Thank everyone, i'm not feeling so bad now. It is nice to know that everyone thinks it's no biggie... i'm starting to not feel so flustered. I am not killing myself for this chem test. I will learn what I reasonably can in the next 24 hrs, and then what I don't know, well, I don't know. Yep, I have to take Calc III next semester. I suppose the worst part is I still don't know what i'm going to do with my life,,.. I just figured i'd probably need calculus, lol! You all rock! I think i'll go get some juice now:p Angela.

    YEAH! heh heh.! I'm with you! These are what blew my 'a'! :( Sux SO bad! I had it down to the last integral and needed to replace back for theta, and well, I just somehow forgot that if it stood alone it was an arcfunction, and just left it with a puzzled look:( Trig sub sux! Angela

    Dave, some people just don't get math. Others, like myself, do good in math and are not so good at some other subjects, or even real life situations. I am sure there are lots of things you excel in!. It just sux that I was supposed to be pretty good with this and I end up getting a 'b'. I mean, if it were another subject, i'd not be so upset. But, I like math, and I really worked at it. :( That's so good to hear! I have a long way to go, yet, so until I get out in the real world... guess i'm screwed:*( I'm feelin' the love. Thanks all!     Thanks, girls... But unfortunately a 'b' student doesn't get the scholarships. I really really wanted this 'a'. Math is my fav subject and it was my only chance at an 'a' this semester, and I really worked hard on it. A 'b' wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't put so much effort in, but now I feel like I failed, even though I didn't "fail", ya know? Thanks for the hugs and for the encouragement, I really need 'em.     I don't think I did very well on my Calc II final today I worked so hard in this class and really wanted an 'A', but I am about 98% certain that i'm coming out with a 'B' now. With 5 credits worth of weight for this, and no chance in hell of getting an 'A' in my Chem class, I am looking at a big drop in my gpa this semester. It'll all be over Friday after my Chem final. Then I can sulk for the evening and drink myself into a state of semi-happiness. I need a hug Angela.

    Well then maybe you could use the practice... Tracking dives are fun, do it. Plus they last a lot longer than freefly jumps I agree that I need to try it. I am just saying maybe not for my 100th is all. Ya know, since I probably will get lost unless everyone makes the effort to stay with me, and then what fun will they have since they will not be going as fast as they'd like. ff jumps are fast, but they are fun. I know i'd have a great time either way. We'll see:) Angela.
