Ive been in the same situation and see what happens to the ones that daicumant everything and try to blow the whistle (SP). Usually all parties involved are terminated and if your boss is a good revenue gererator all will be fired ecept him. I have seen this happen many many times at different companies. I would talk to your boss before going to brass about it. Just explain you frustration in a kind way.

I take that back. AIM is bouncing. I looked into my log and see the connect reestablishing quite a few times today. DNS Flush fr XP ipconfig /flushdns
-
Try pinging login.oscar.aol.com You should get good returns. If not flush DNS Cache or change DNS servers.

Using Spybot and CWShredder together clean everything and are free$.

Not yet, and I have lots of $$ on my account. I really screwed up my back and mostly my left leg. I still have a briuse 4 inches high where my left legstrap was. The Right side is fine but that is the side where the lines broke. I have to visit doctor again soon. I still can hardly walk. Or sit. Or stand. Got lots of pics of the damage though. I do plan on getting in air APSP. Ask doctor how long I should wait, and he said I can never jump again. They just dont understand. The cutaway has helped with my confiance. I have reviewed EPs in my head daily for a long time and I was able to execute without freakin. However, I did not plan on injury from a hard opening. Now I have a new variable to think about on every jump. I now understand why people say they cringe at pulltime on every jump.

The ball was making an awful sound after the impact. Kinda like a humming noise.

How did you get to do .5 of a jump?
-
Thanks again to all that replied. I appreciate all the input. I guess I have some questions to review with an instructor when I can make it back to the DZ. Hopefully this weekend. Is it bad to be limping around DZ wishing you could jump? I dont want to scare any students or tandems. ____________________________ You're still on the radio at 13 jumps? Glad you're ok!! ____________________________ I think at SDC a student has a radio until AFP 15 (hop and pop). I try not to be dependant on the radio. I usually hear only, good job, oe final corrections. I have 13 jumps but only on afp 9.

Thanks for feedback. I was aware that I could land with risers but have not been instructed to do so yet. My back was (is) messed up and I could not easily move arms. When my reserve opened I was glad to see the red toggles so close to reach. I am still trying to figured out what hit my forehead and face. I have two big red scrapes.
-
Had my first reserve ride Saturday afternoon. Thirteenth jump. Jump went very well ending in a three second seperation track. Break off was 7k. After counting 1000 2000 3000. I arched hard. Looked at alti at was at about 6k. Held arch til 5-5 the wave and toss. Then BAM! www.triadriders.com/scuba/v/ouch.wmv Damn that hurt. I was gasping for air really bad. I felt like something hit me. Looked at alti - right at 5k ish. Canopy was square but I noticed I was turning. Looked up and grabbed left toggle to unstow brake. That stopped the turn. I was VERY painful reaching arm over head for toggle (9 out of 10) and I still had not caught breath. Reached for right toggle to do control check. Pulled it and all the line came down with it. I thought SHIT!! Looked at alti and about at 4.7k . Looked at red handle on right side and thought ( THIS BETTER WORK) Peeled and Pulled. Grabed sliver and pulled. The RSL beat me to the pull but I was under a fully functioning (Beautiful Yellow) Reserve by 4k. Did I say I was loving that yellow 7 cell. Looked where main was planning to land and headed back to DZ. Did a straight in landing ( was going to complete patteren planned for main but JM radioed me to come straight in). Sliding landing ok for a no wind day. Back and hamstrings in very much pain. Went to hospital later that day to get checked out. Just to be sure no back injury. Xrays came out ok and I got my first taste of viociden. That stuff is very strange. I now only have to deal with the hemotoma on my thighs and hams. Big purple bumps( 3 inchs deep) where leg straps were. Everyone at DZ told me I did everything ok but for some reason I feel I did something wrong. Is this normal. Thanks.

Has anyone caught the cell phone commercial where there are a tandem pair and two other skydivers hanging in trees as if landed out. They are arguing about who should call for help. Nobody wants use daytime minutes and they try to make the tandem passanger call. He says no, so the TM pulls a handel (??) and the passenger falls... e Its pretty good..

If you are on a corp network there could be a GPO mapping all the history data to server with read/write (no delete) for you.

All this talk made me go out and buy the DVD. It was very hard to find in a store!! I thought it was alright. Definately worth $20. Not much skydiving but overall amusing. It was interesting to see whow much the skydiving has evolved and even more interesting to see what has not changed: Whuffos are freaked out by the thought of skydiving. Skydivers can show contempt for whuffos. Pushing the limits. Tit-E bars!! Beer and chasing women. I liked the demo Lancaster gave to the women Aux Club. Did the rounds really pop like that on opening??? And they seemed a little dusty... did they need to be powdered at that time?

My family actually almost called sightings. I was lying on the floor of my room with GF watching Tv . Whe said she seen something in dark that looked like a face. I did not see anything. She was freaking out. SHe said she also seen a hat, kinda like a straw hat and it seemed to chase other stuff away. I said BS, that she sull of it. I no sooner said that and my light on ceeling whet 'pop' and we freaked. Everyone at parents house came running to se what we aere screaming about. The former owner's daughter lived in town and was talking to my parents at ball game. My parents told them about all the stuff going on and she gave my mom a pic of her parents. THe old man wore a straw hat all the time and was into gardening. No I was scared. Thats not the worst that happened to one of my family there. MY room was on 2nd floor and everytime I went up the stairs I tripped. The old man that lived there was a practial joker. Most common was stommping noises from upstairs when we were all at dinner table or huddeled around tv. I stayed weekend there by myself once at age 20 and slept in my car!! I was freaked out. We never got rid of the strang things there. After I moved out years ago theybought new house and moved. I used to curse the old man for tripping me everyday!!! Also. My kid brothers friend was the local mortician's son. He would not stay overnite at our house. HE said it was scarier than his dad's parlor.

Grew up in a house where two previous owners died at home (old House). Animals did the same stuff and always in same room. Wierd.

There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane? - Airplane

Just sitting here bored this afternoon with an overcast rainy sky. So I decided to capture my AFP vids from VHS. I thought I would share last jump with you'all. This is my AFP 6 done last weekend. My instructor was Rook Nelson!!! So I was a little nervous to say the least. The dive folw was basically 180 leg turns. This is my weak attempt. BTW I know I messed up at pull time.. http://www.triadriders.com/scuba/afp6.wmv
