  1. OH MY GAWD!!! I devirginized you???!?! Cool. It was good for me too.
  2. Must...... ......resist...... the urge.......... .....to give...... .............shit......... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  3. Why are you opposed to ordering from ParaGear? I've tried several others and they all break too quickly. ParaGear is a reliable source and they turn them enough to be assured that what you are buying has not been sitting on a shelf for decades. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! 4. My choice wasn't listed. I back track half way. Then belly track the rest of the way and barrel roll at the end. Flare out and pull. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  5. I DO have experience with Smart reserves. I do not think that a Pilot 188 and a Smart 175 are an unreasonable combination. I'll shoot you a PM and we can go over your concerns, if you like. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  6. Many jumpers choose a reserve size that is between their current main canopy size and the next one they will likely jump. HOWEVER. In this case, I beleive that there is too big of a difference. When choosing to take this route, there are many considerations to take. PD reserves are a great product use for this purpose. Their reserves are sized accordingly. Ex: A 190 main "could be" paired with a 176r and then accomodate at downsize to a 170 very gracefully. Same with the 170 main and 160r to a 150 main. I feel that PD reserves are easy to fly and perform so well that a SLIGHTLY smaller reserve is acceptable in most cases. I proved this theory with many "Flying the Reserve" seminars where our DZ was able to test fly reserve of all sizes. This include very experienced jumps and complete novices. In short. I think it's okay to set up your first rig with a slightly smaller reserve. But please seek a proper gear consultation to discuss the pros and cons of your choices and to make sure you find a combination that is right for you. I personally cannot tell this jumper about his reserve choice, because I have no experience with this brand. I don't know how it's constructed, what the "actual" size is, or how it flys and flares. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  7. You are dating yourself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  8. I think the music and clips helps me process. It sparks a release. It's like singing the blues. The blues is more than just music. It's therapy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

  10. Oh. I thought this thread would be about BBQ. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  11. Mad!!?!?!? No. Just miss you out here. Tough love. Don't make me call you by Jett's nick name for you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  12. You didn't give me shit. You gave Bay Area Skydiving something. We are reserving you a most excellent patch of dirt way down yander in the "going long" zone. We are all working to make this an unforgetable boogie. I hope ya'll love it our party. Now I have to get back to infusing this Swedish Vodka! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! 13. That is what a check register is for! Better come back to Byron, so I can school you on your accounting practices! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  14. I'm not a rigger, but I have an opinion here as well. I think that jumpers who plan on doing lots of hybrid jumps should be more dilligent in their gear maintenance. Check the stitching on the webbing of the chest straps and leg strap attachment points. Also. I prefer the wide chest strap for this application. Drop a bug in the R & D Masters' ear. (Bill Booth) Maybe he'll come up with a reinforcement for the hybrid application and/or something similar to the way they are reinfocing mini risers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! 15. Linc? Linc who? I've seen Chris, but I'm not sure I remember a Linc..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  16. Eloy. Eloy. Eloy. Eloy. Best winter weather in USA. Big fleet. Massive tunnel. Great facilities. Amazing coaches. Wide open spaces. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  17. Sounds like a great deal monitarily. Make sure your DZ has a few rental sizes to graduate you from the 280 to a 170. Even a few jumps on each size in between will make a world of difference. If you DZ does not have varying sizes available, maybe you could plan a trip and spend a weekend or two transitioning. First just get through AFF. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  18. Now that is a good idea. I've also had couple ask if I could start a registry so they could have their wedding gifts purchased from my site. I don't have a wish list, but I do have a log in feature that can be manipulated for your purpose. Thanks for the kind words. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  19. If the DZO found out that Shannon invited all you folks, he'ld be really scared. So don't tell him! On the other hand as a thank you Shannon, I just sold your rig. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  20. Tarps and Carpets. Get some. I have an idea for your shade structure. So WHOEVER is in charge of that, come see me and I'll see if I can get you some partial wind blockage. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  21. Pray tell? Where do you find good used gear for $1,500.00? This information could be very usefull to me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  22. Friday night is pasta feed. Saturday is Tri Tip Dinner. Thursday.... thursday.... .... I can make PB & J!!!!! I think we have mobile food vendors. Not sure who is confirmed yet. Nobody here will let you starve. Byron is all about the EFS. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  23. Note to self: Don't let Jett eat ANYTHING at the Boogie! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  24. Being a gear dealer in the US, I'll give you more cost effective options from my side of the pond... sort of. Containers: Wings or Infinity are two great picks. Reserve: If PD is too expensive, consider a Smart by Aerodyne. www.skydivewings.com www.velocityrigs.com www.Aerodyne-Int.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
  25. The used gear market is a hard one to shop for the future. When budget allows be ready to buy when the right opportunity comes along. You can also call various gear dealers who carry used gear. Most do. Including myself. I speak for myself, but I think other dealers may be in a similar situation. Used gear in 170 - 210 comes and goes so quickly, that many times I never update my web site. So it's worth a call. I have a wait list for certain requests. That way, I can give you a shout if a match comes along. Start local and work your way out. It's best if you can try stuff on in person. Although there are measures you can take to help determine fit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
