The Mirage M5 will have a great resale value if it's in good shape. It is one of the most sought after sized. It would behoove you to sell your container reserve and buy another container reserve in an M3. It is safer and you shouldn't go out of pocket much more than the repacks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Stilletto 150? Hmmm. From a Pilot 170? Container sizing is likely not the only question you need answered. What has you making this transition? What type of flying would you like to do? It's an unusual progression and merits a bit of consideration before investing in the container. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

Good news for Christians from the world of science
GravityGirl replied to Andrewwhyte's topic in Speakers Corner
so why is it not the law of flight? Is it more credible because we have enough intellectuals and/or pseudo-intellectuals that know and believe? Some Christians might argue that they know and beleive things about God based on their experience and thousands of years of documented proof. If man wipes out all of the birds in existance, will we still have knowledge that They flew? Or will all of the writings and pictures be discredited by nay Sayers demanding more proof from the people who have faith in the legends of these flying creatures? I would love to stay on here and play a bit more, but I have a business to run, an exam to study for and a child to care for. What I'm trying to say is I'm too lazy to get any more involved in silly debates that serve no purpose other than to fuel the ego with the saticfaction of being either educated or enlightened. At the end of the day we all rely on each other for the unique talents that we have to offer our community be they based on faith or function. So keep studying. Keep the faith. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -

>>That depends on what you call faith. If you define faith as the acceptance of a statement as true without evidence for it, or in the face of evidence against it, then yes, I'd say that's pretty stupid. Gravity Gear! -
The order was submitted electronically by the customer. Follow ups and changes were made by the Dealer. The customer put a rush on the order. The production order form had two panels swapped (5 and 6). The Gear Dealer (ME) failed to see that error on the printed confirmation in time. I have overnighted the rig back to the manufacturer who will have the issue rectified before the original due date. Any further questions can be directed to me via PM. How to figure resale price? (Main Canopy)
GravityGirl replied to derrickiv's topic in Gear and Rigging
It comes down to supply and demand. And you don't start with retail. Most dealers will sell for at least 15% off. Show me the customer that pays full retial, and..... well..... give them my contact info. That being said. It has been my experience that the market would tollerate about 1200 or 1250 for your canopy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
The manufacturer is bending over backwards to correct the issue. The mistake happened because of a series of events. Several changes were made to the order and it was rushed due to time constraints. And yeah. The panels on the confirmation are side by side and the "distributor" didn't catch it. The blue on the rig is in fact royal blue. It's hard to compare a screen shot to a cell phone pic taken in poor lighting. Rest assured that the "distributor" and the manufacturer are working to produce a "happy customer". .... more coffee.... must have a second cup..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! wheres the cheapest place 4 a jav odyssey
GravityGirl replied to spencer's topic in Gear and Rigging
The skydiving industry does not offer an very large margin to it's dealers. So we are all quite competative and very close in numbers. Your best bet is to go where you get the most personal service. Measurements in person. Consultation on options. That sort of thing. Prices will be quite close. Shop service. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear! -
Praying for you an dyour every day. I have a candle lit for Shannon. Stay strong..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
