  1. Well, that still means that there has been less ice than at the present ~2.3% of the time over the past 35 years, so we must be okay now.
  2. She must have gotten her info from these guys. Watch the video, quite funny. http://mediamatters.org/blog/2015/11/06/watch-fox-news-stumble-through-outstanding-octo/206671
  3. Well, this time it was black officers shooting a white child.'
  4. 2nd. Many states could get up to at least a C by improving in a couple of areas.
  5. It used to. Maybe less so these days. When I was hired at my first real job out of grad school, a professor who consulted at the company part time "put in a good word" for my wife, and got her into a local university despite having been rejected by them for her low GPA from her GA Tech years. No idea, but I wouldn't doubt it, at least for someone not totally disqualified.
  6. I'm a few years from Medicare, but I would have assumed that much of your parent's medical expense would have been covered by that.
  7. No he hasn't. He would have done better putting his inheritance in a savings account. He did better at picking parents with money. Good thing they were pro life. Were they unable to afford to raise a child?

  9. Driving without seat belt -- here's your sign.
  10. That is a "popular atheist belief" only in your mind.
  11. It was Fantasy Football and fantasy tax reforms. None of the other candidates mentioned Fiorina. Kasich didn't mention any other candidates. Bush didn't seem to be able to find his ass with both hands, so Rubio handed it to him.
  12. One of your crab lice seems to have jumped off.
  13. The point is, PPH gets much more from donations, and much more from individual (not Medicaid) fee for service, than it spends on abortions. The number of abortions at PPH will not decrease if all grants and Medicaid are eliminated.
  14. (not responding to you, just to the thread) The outright "grants" of tax dollars are a fairly small part of PPH's funding, and aren't used for abortions. The bulk of the tax dollars that PPH receives are Medicaid fees for service, which are also not used for abortions. Those Medicaid users could seek Medicaid services elsewhere, but our taxes will be paying the same thing (except that the clients may not be able to find local services so might spend less). Roughly half of PPH funding comes from donations. There is probably 6x as much in donated funds as the total cost of doing abortions (although some donors may stipulate that their donations are not thusly used), and probably half of the cost of abortions is covered by fee for service. There will be no decrease in abortions by eliminating PPH as a Medicaid provider. In fact, there will likely be more unplanned pregnancies and subsequently more abortions.
  15. Also, sugar prices in the US are 2x-3x the world market price.
  16. I got a lot more entertainment for my $4-$5 dollars for that one.
  17. They were playing cops and robbers. I wonder which was which. If the 6 year old was the cop, I guess its okay.
  18. The person shot was the front seat passenger, not the gun owner.
  19. "This mistake could've happened to anyone. It looks crazy on the outside, 'irresponsible gun owner,' " said the gun owner. Oh, well then, a responsible owner, despite appearances.
  20. Well, I'm off to Roseburg tomorrow. I expect that the POTUS will be gone by the time I get to town.
  21. C'mon, this is a British publication. So is the King James version.
