On my wife's first shot, she didn't even feel the needle. She didn't even know that she was done. I barely felt it on mine.

Joel Greenberg pleaded guilty to six charges, including conspiracy. Soon, we should know the name of the co-conspirator(s). Conspiracy is a crime for all of the co-conspirators, even if only one actually acts upon the conspiracy. Now that Greenberg has pleaded guilty, any information that he may have given investigators can be used. i.e., he is not shielding others by taking the 5th for himself.

A fully vaccinated friend, in her mid-30's, went with her 4 year old to visit friends in Florida. Got back home and was told that her Florida friend's kid (~4 also) had tested positive. Soon after, both my friend and her 4 year old tested positive -- kid had no symptoms but the fully vaccinated friend did for 7 days. First thought she just had allergies, then noticed when eating spicy food -- tongue was tingling but she couldn't taste it. Went to bed and slept 12 hours straight, woke up exhausted. Headaches that neither caffeine nor ibuprofen would touch, nausea, dizziness. Symptoms peaked 4 days after she tested positive.

Most Americans will never travel to Europe. I expect that this is even more true for the Americans that are hesitant to take the vaccines.

It would be interesting to see the medical condition of those folks tabulated. e.g., did they have immune system problems, cancer, other conditions, or were they just unlucky.

People over 60 with blood cancer have about 47% chance of dying if they get Covid. A few extra precautions are understandable.

My best friend's blood test shows no antibodies, 4 weeks after 2nd Moderna shot. Discouraging, but not surprising for someone with early stage plasma cell cancer. A small study of people with blood cancers showed only something like 13% had detectable antibodies 3 weeks after the 1st injection (Pfizer, if I recall correctly) -- normal people 97%. So, still masking, no restaurants or take-out, sanitizing all groceries, no travel, no friends inside.

I cannot remember where I was seeing some comments on this -- maybe YouTube, maybe FB. Anyway, mostly about raising money for R's via WinRed contributions, but some commented on the default recurring payments. I suggested that they contribute instead on ActBlue, since it didn't do that. ;-)
