Saw it twice. I recommend the 3D version - it also has better sound. But yeah, great flick. How about when he is backtracking down Broadway while creating a barrier made of heat to melt the glass falling from the building. Superman is a biter, except for the heat thing!

I like where I am of the three, but it isn't an option. But one of them ain't tall, so that is the one thing I would have to vote for.

Edited because doing a PA on a Mod is NOT a good idea. .

Oh sure, pick on me. My theory, always question. But I knew that we had a poor arguement when I saw that video. Thanks Big Mamma!!!

Comedy Relief. Would you want to be this porta-pottie? A 30" diameter test from about 5 or 6 stories.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yr1GP8PTsr4 huh...dear professor, you surely meant to address another.
-
10" ? How did you calculate that...I mean, are you absolutely sure? It is probably better that it does not maintain its shape. Like a water drop, just add a tiny pull-up-cord tail, would be better to conform to the wind and add to the velocity. ...;therefore, it would be less forgiving than a watermelon. Yes, a watermelon would hurt. But a lethal waterballoon...just hard to imagine. It may explode well before any type of detrimental impact....maybe i said. Exactly. Where did you get the number 15 lbs? Did you make that up or is that determined by the weight of water at the speculated 10" diameter above? It doesn't compare. It would burst into billion molecules upon contact with a fixed object. Hence, losing its combined mass. Are you actually going to just assume that it is going to burst on impact. Dear Sir, it most definitely will. Will it hurt? ...probably. End somebody's life? ...yet to be determined but much less likely than a spaceball.

Need Airport pick up for Skyfest for Alli Richard
Vertifly replied to fireflytx's topic in The Bonfire
Should only take me about 4 days to get there, so if you don't find anyone closer. -
here here. sounded like a good idea to me. it sounds like a safe alternative; and brilliant if the density of water weighted a delicate shell (like a balloon) well enough.

Think someone struck a cord? Everyone here is retarted!!!!!! Especially shadow. Swooping...daaahhhh.... If you are buying the derogatory sarcasm then you are also being a bit retarted. It is not that I am not willing to try something new, because I've done a full brake to front riser approach. Never said that I didn't. I just prefer the other way, personally, as an experience pilot with a bit more time in a harness than you - tart.
-
something about this thread is stupid. who would want to swoop anyway. full brakes or not...friggin retarded. imho, full flight is better to gather an understanding of your canopies consistent movement - hence making it easier to predict the coming action of your wing upon pulling down a riser. just the way i like it anyway. full break would leave me questioning what is about to happen unless i am super-duper current. sub-stall speed to full on front riser turn is a much wider margin to deal with than full speed to front riser. but this is still retahded.

All...or all the ones you listed? Either way, contestable. There is a new cut by Wings that looks really good - it is being tested now. That rig is getting very tight. I flew one all day last month and didn't want to give it back to the owner. Mirage - a little too bulky in my opinion. Vector...anyone freeflying one of these? There probably ok. I have heard only satisfactory opinions about them Javelin was my first rig; I really liked the way it packed, but it lacked a few freefly qualities (like riser flaps) until recently and word on the street is there are still issues with the main flap coming loose; it may be a good idea to get a good look at one before seriously considering it above another one. But that is the only reason I didn't buy another one. It was a tight rig. I have experience with other rigs too, but I'd personally stop here and advise anyone to choose between them until something, arguably, as good or better comes along. Good luck man.

That is beside my point but true. They've been working on that problem for a couple versions now.

Canopypiloting Pilot profiles

Nice! Everybody loves you man. ...and it pissed me off. -
I think that is an overstatement. It is pretty hard to get a sponsorship by that company. Which means they are good flyers with an agenda and they likely had the pick-of-the-litter - of sponsors.
-
Yeah, but you love it. achachaacha!!!!

There was nothing unlucky about that guy. He just doesn't really take shit seriously. Poor guy is going to go through life like that. No fun for him. -
Well. There are some still around that still kinda do that. But she was brilliant.
-
oh please, the only thing that is surprising about that statement is that you didn't expect it. you mean to say, that you expected a bunch of adrenaline freeks to behave themselves. Lawrocket, damn, you had to do that, didn't you!

I doubt anyone who posted pics of their ass would get tired of the comments that they basically invite by letting people see it on a pubic forum. I don't know though, that is just my world; yours may be different.

I had to take Friday and Monday off to make it happen, but I voted Fri - Tues.. K, SKYMAMA!!!

I don't really know. She was a very good freeflyer and quite a brite person in the community. I just hope she is ok; all kidding aside, she did have a nice tush and those on here who remember her know - does anyone know what is up with that girl?
-
This calls for a side by side proof.
