Personally, I think the Fed screwed up by raising rates at every meeting, 425 basis points within three years, only to have to reverse course within a year following, down by 325 since September 2007. Now, they can't reduce rates any further because of inflation and the weak dollar, and if they raise rates, they'll push things uphill just enough to slow things down, while strengthening the dollar, but stalling growth.
