Yeah, after 8 years and 2000 jumps, I decided to to re-discover myslef. I've taken up sail boat racing. On top of that, I have 2 kids that are 7 and 9, fun ages. That does not mean I won't continue to jump some though! Ganja

I do HVAC work for a living. I'd have to disagree with the thermocouple theory. A bad thermocouple typically would not let the pilot stay lit when you let go of the "button" My guess is, it's tha gas valve itself. Personally, I'd try the thermocouple route first though, very easy to do and inexpensive, relatively safe too. You never know when you might get lucky! Ganja

Adios, I agree with most of your post. If it was an SOB in the situation, I'd like to think that someone would stick around my dead ass until the coroner got there. And I damn sure know that I wouldn't leave one of you guys lying there, and just haul ass. UNLESS, we had had some sort of conversation prior to the event that was of some other wishes. If a brother has a particular wish upon such an event, I would respect his wishes. That being said, there are plenty of ways to notify the authorities with it coming back to haunt you. I can't imagine that an anonymously placed phone call from a pay phone about a dead base jumper would create a CSI like investigation of said payphone or that my voice would be running through all sort of voice recognition software trying to find me. I'd like to think the cops have something more important to do than try to track down some guy that witnessed a guy go in on a base jump. Alot of banks are overly cautious when it comes to credit cards. I use neteller and it takes about 20 minutes and you'll be all set up. It comes straight out of my checking account. On a side note, I'm looking forward to getting more of skinnyshrek's money tonight!!!! Ganja

That was alot of fun. It was great to see some old friends and get a game or two of poker in at the same time. I'd have to say, that's the most fun I've had playing online in quite some time. I'd also like to thank skinnyshrek for the side bet that kept me to only losing $2 instead of $22. On another note, my loss to Shaggio in the losers tourney cost me having to get up early and open the office up this morning. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks, and I will be a regular in this tourney from now on. I know a few other jumpers that play, so I'll try to spread the word and help the tourneys grow. Ganja
