    So lets say you have a wiseass that has an over inflated sense of her tracking and swears she can out track you... I'm thinking the best way to settle this is a three way with the third person being an impartial observer, maybe even with video. Exit into an open accordian with the wise ass and myself parallel, the observer says go and we both take off, who ever gets the furtherest away wins. Anyone got a better or simpler idea????     One of the best weekends I ever had packing at SDAZ - 60 tandems on saturday, 60 tandems on sunday and a handful of instructor and student rigs thrown in for fun. I still have that pay stub from that cycle... Scars remind us that the past is real

    I'm guessing that is a rhetorical 'you' as I don't have a dz or have much to do with training students. However, I strive each weekend to set a good pattern, keep my own head on a swivel, stress keeping situational awareness to newer jumpers, to talk with everyone about the pattern at the mock up and making sure everyone knows what everyone else is doing.     So maybe this has been pointed out before but this is the first time I've seen it. Check out image number_1. I saw an ad on dz.com home page for parachuting over phoenix. Strange - never heard of it so I click on it. Get to image number_2. Starting to look strangely like a skyride site.... check the bottom of that page shown in image number_3 and there are the usual skyride suspects. So dz.com is supporting skyride????? I'm confused.     Disagree with you here bill - It is stupid canopy pilots - swooper and non swooper alike that is the problem. Unfortunately you can't institute rules to make people smarter, more aware, etc. As for skydive AZ - their toys, their rules - like it or lump it. Scars remind us that the past is real

    Not sure I get your drift?? I'm exploring the differences between british english and american english and I'm finding a lot of nuances. Like ending emails with x's and o's. I see your posts end with x's in your sig line. I know x's and o's mean hugs and kisses - just didn't know how common it was for emails in the UK to end with those. I hardly ever get an email that orginates in the US that ends with x's and o's.... Scars remind us that the past is real
