Hahaha, you've never met Jumper03 before. He's my height, he'd look like a man trying to hump a football on a Sportster 883. Whoa, hang on a minute. I'm not in your gorilla size class by a long shot! I just checked - we'll be using a mix of sport and cruiser bikes from 250 up to 550 in our class. Three day class, damn.... I'd like a cruiser - just checked out the vulcan, I like the way it looks, but I'd have to sit on it. Scars remind us that the past is real

which is exactly what happened 20 yrs ago! I nearly broke my back after a wreck on a KX100 a few years ago. I was screwing around and tried jumping a little hill at about 50mph and gave it a little too much gas. Ended up flipping it. holy shit - almost the same....back end came out from under me, I land flat on my back and the bike almost landed on top of me. Scars remind us that the past is real

For the reason I stated above - twenty years since I been on a bike. I want something to learn on that I can handle and won't handle me. After I got all the skills back, THEN I'll start moving up the ladder if I want to. then get a dirt bike don't waste money on that thing i mean kids now days ride bigger bikes than that now grab your balls and go look at a bigger bike. you only live once Thanks for the constructive advice. I'd guess you'd have me jumping a stiletto 120 too right? Scars remind us that the past is real

aight then - I'm open to suggestions and am not tied to Honda. I'll be doing some more research but keep the comments coming - they're greatly appreciated. Scars remind us that the past is real

It's been twenty years since I was last on a bike (and damned near killed myself) and I've been thinking hard about getting one again. So last night I went to check out a Honda Rebel. Just by chance, a guy just traded one in that is exactly like what I was looking for - a 2005 with only 60 miles on it, looks just like the attached. I sat on it, can reach all the important levers and knobs, didn't feel cramped and it's a killer deal since its used (if you can call it that). I'm just wondering if there are some questions I'm forgetting to ask? They'll finance a trailer, helmet, gloves, jacket, what ever else I need all together with the bike - one year warranty - what am I missing? and I'll save AD a post (or half post anyway) I'm already signed up for a basic riders course. any help greatly appreciated. If you've been to Eloy you've most likely met Coop. Fly's camera, packs, very british (I guess). We had a guy come do a tandem a few weekends ago and the requisite 20 people to watch, one of which was a baby in a stroller that was raising holy hell. All the family were doting on the kid and Coop walks up, water jug in hand and announces, "He's either shit himself ors ungry. Or boff." Takes a swig and walks off. Even the baby shuts up and watches him walk off like "what the hell was that?" I haven't laughed that hard in awhile.... Jump Scars remind us that the past is real
