if you work for a company that has an HR person (let alone a department) then you work for a company you should already know this wouldn't fly at. That said, if he's bitching about pens he probably already hates his life, so there's your revenge right there, you don't even have to lift a finger.

I'm not 100% on this, if you jump from the tower of a suspention bridge is that an S or a B? either way I'd have my number, I need to redo the A to get a decent photo, even with the "new toy" it can be a pain to get up there. PS, do not try and jump the dam

hey slug, Well first I need to point out that THEL and Patriot are two very different creatures, but even holding each to their own theatre THEL has a number of advantages over Patriot: -much higher resistance to electronic countermeasures -instantanous time-on-target once fire-control tracking begins (target desctruction takes a few seconds) -cost-per-kill of less than $3000 -an impressive track record on the test range including succussful interception of multiple supersonic targets in the same encounter. Basically, if you can get line of sight to a moving object for more than 3-4 seconds, there's no reason THEL can't destroy it.

this particular video has been released for a little over a month now, but still pretty cool imho... http://www.st.northropgrumman.com/media/VideoInfo.cfm?VideoID=34

if anyone can figure out a good way to get to the top of the rather large antennea at the south end of San Fierro, please pass it on. My current strategy... well... sucks.

hey cool... I was just sorting some names around in my buddy list, and upon returning from the list manager it deleted my "old friends" folder for no apparent reason.

This is too much fun. It's all about jumping the jet, it gets to altitude pretty quick. I've perfected bailing out, tracking, dumping so I get line stretch and a short flare right in front of my house. you almost have to spot using "GPS" (put the marker on your target) cause they made the smog so thick.

do you really have to start your instructions with this?

When I'm making a right turn onto a side street/driveway, I put on my turn signal, wait about a second, begin slowing down, and complete my turn. A staggering number of people behind me will begin accelerating violently the moment my turn signal comes on to let me know that I'm causing them undue grief. This is annoying. If I'm the first car in the left turn lane, and the green arrow comes on, but cross traffic continues briefly in spite of their red light, don't honk at me to go. I don't care if you miss the first two seconds of your TV show, I'm not pulling out in front of a speeding cement truck. This is annoying. There's a lot of things bad drivers do that are annoying. I realize people get lost from time to time, or drift off mentally, and that probably accounts for most of people's complaints here. I usually try not let this kind of thing bother me. What does bother me is people that let these little things piss them of so much while they're driving, that now they come up behind me and... "who the FUCK is this guy? slowing down to make a right turn? while he's in MY way WTF! AGARHGARHARG" This is annoying.

A lot of the undeliverable mail things you get may not mean you have a virus. I kept getting them a while back and I think I've figured out why. When people write those trojan programs and attatch them to e-mails (i.e. funny_photo.jpg.exe) they usually try to grab all the addresses from the user's address book and send copies all over the place. But some of them pick random addresses from the book and use them in the "From:" header of the e-mails. This makes things more chaotic, and thus, harder to stop. So now you have e-mails coming from other people's computers, with your e-mail in the "From:" field, going all over the place. And when a service provider that has a virus scanning program set up, or just doesn't recognize a particular address gets the message, the only place it knows to send the error to, is you. So definately run a good virus scan on your machine with recent updates, but I wouldn't pull your hair out if your scan doesn't find anything and you keep getting the messages.

I recognized you from one of your previous avatars. I think you pointed me out to Michelle. Amazaon is, well, Amazon. I overheard someone talking to Evelyn so said hi to her. Skyhi is always around. I think I saw VanillaSkyGirl Sunday afternoon but was kinda rushing to get out of there to go to work. I ran into billvon in line for food Saturday night. I'm not sure how drunk I was at that point though, because after talking to him for about 2 minutes he says, "yeah... I'm gonna go now." I was pretty bummin' then, I mean... first that dog by the loading area and then billvon... who next?

you're all right, stealing sucks regardless of scale. I'm being stubborn and argueing semantics... which is hollow. Sorry, about that. Have a good evening.

for neutrons you need the atomic weight. take atomic weight - # of protons = # of neutrons.
-
Retail theft? Copyright infringement? Signal theft? I'm with the judicial system in believing that scale is relevant.

"stealing" has negative connotations beyond its dictionary.com definition (namely: violence, breaking and entering, destruction of property, etc) and it's my belief that the use of the term in situations like this is less than objective. As though we can't understand that what the person is doing is illegal without someone coming along and saying, "but what they're doing is no really no different from all that street crime you hear about on the news" /edited to add: I didn't check, but I figured I was violating the terms of service, and thus reading material on the site without their permission.

I love dictionary.com, don't you? unfortunately it's supported by pop-up ads, which I don't care for, so I use software that blocks them... which is stealing
