You know better. You know it was Obama. How do you feel about past drug use and character? Same as I feel about Bush and Clinton. I wonder how JSM III avoided court martial for his "conduct unbecoming". Having an admiral for a daddy, maybe? While adultery is punishable un the UCMJ it isn't normally investigated unless it involves another officer's wife or husband (he was in the Navy afterall ). Also there is a tendency, at least in the USMC, to overlook unbecoming conduct if the person is a 'war hero'. His father being an Admiral does not have as much influence as you think. It could have been a detriment to JSMIII as well since becoming a flag officer usually means stepping on people during the rise through the ranks. www.FourWheelerHB.com

Right, so all the pro-capital punishment guys saying that we need to expedite the process are really saying we need to execute more innocent people. Short of the actual shooter confessing in open court, would the hearsay of an unrelated lawyer overcome 3 witnesses? They were going to try if Logan received the death penalty because it would be ok to prevent a death. In my mind, if it's ok to prevent a death then it's ok to prevent an innocent man being imprisoned for life. BUT the ethics committee sees it differently and I'm no lawyer. Well I'm not an elitist by either definition. Unfortunately, I'm more of an underachiever. I'll admit I have been elitist, by both definitions, in the past but as I got older I decided it was an unbecoming personal trait so when I recognize the behaviour within myself, I put a stop to it. I credit my religion for bringing that out of me.
