The incidents of torture/abuse we have seen in afghanistan and iraq were a result of war not policy. However I cannot argue that the CIA's use of black sites to imprison terrorists is not sketchy to say the least. I don't think they wanted to keep it secret so that can use torture techniques. I don't know jack about their gulags. I assume you are implying these involved abuse. I'm OK with ours because I am not assuming there is abuse in these prisons. A professional interrogator does not need to employ torture to break their subject. And yes I AM assuming the CIA is using professional interrogators in these facilities. They damn well better be. No. I think they do it because they are abusive individuals. I do not agree nor forgive their behavior. My point is in time of war bad shit happens and in no way are we Americans above the bad shit. Try this...... Find a ceiling fan and turn it on. Then determine the fan's direction of rotation. Standing directly underneath and looking up at the fan, begin to spin (in place) in the opposite direction. At first you can extend your arms out to your sides for stability, however, this will not work unless you are spinning as fast as you possibly can. Once you feel comfortable, begin to slowly bring your arms down to your sides. This will allow you to achieve your personal maximum RPMs. Remember to continue to look up at the fan. Definately don't look outward because all you will see is the walls of the room going by at high speeds which will only serve to make you more dizzy. If done properly you will no longer be dizzy.
