  1. Quote Do they not think that I'm capable of deciding if the subject at hand is a possibility or truth? Quote So what you are saying is that when you and another person disagree, the only person trustworthy enough to be correct is yourself? What if the other person IS correct? www.FourWheelerHB.com
  2. know why so many wives think their husbands are stupid? cuz smart men don't get married www.FourWheelerHB.com
  3. Nope. We used the M16A2 service rifle. Didn't say I could make the shot using the same rifle. My point was and still is that oswald could have just been lucky that day. Not saying either way whether he made the shot or not. Just pointing out the possibility, although remote, that he could have regardless of what other people have been unable to do using the same rifle and under the same circumstances. And yes....put me in that building with a M16, no scope, and the same sight picture, I'd make the shot. Using the carcano? Doubt it. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  4. On prequalification day at the USMC Perris Island rifle range (boot camp) I scored 248 out of a possible 250. Range record best was 238. Each bullseye was 2 points. Just outside the bullseye but within the silhouette is 1 point. Shots were taken in the sitting, kneeling, offhand, and prone from 200 and 300 yards as well as the prone from 500 yards. I only missed 2 bullseyes. Qual day i scored a 236. Point is.... some days we got it, some days we dont. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  5. heh...subtle, real subtle www.FourWheelerHB.com
  6. Not true. I started smoking due to a very dangerous job I once had. Long term health seemed moot considering my life was on the line every day. Now that my job is not so dangerous (quite dull acutally), quitting is on the agenda.....but one thing at a time. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  7. Dood, so what you got your ass kicked. You survived, no worse for wear, and it took several of em to take you down.....you have nothing to be ashamed of. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  8. You don't know what to think? Well I suggest trying it out at least once. At that point I'm sure you'll know what to think. you'll either be disgusted or seriously turned on. I'd like to offer my services.....for a small fee of course. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  9. I was surfing through the channels one night only to come upon a man standing very still, camo'd head to toe, and drawing back a compound bow. My next thought was...."what the hell is this guy hunting that has him so scared?" Well about 40 feet away was a resting grizzly bear. What a nut! Hunting a grizzly with a bow and arrow?!?! WTF. Then to my shock and horror, the guy decides he wants to get closer. He moves slow, steady, and with the silence of a ninja. Even still the grizzly gets spooked a couple times and lifts its head up to look and sniff around, freezing the guy in his tracks. Finally the guy decides he is close enough at 15 feet, draws back, takes steady aim, and releases. Perfect shot! Right in the heart. The grizzly jumps up and sprints right at the guy. Fortunately, due to his camo, the grizzly didn't really see him and missed by about 6 inches. It ran on for 100 yards before it finally collapsed and drew its last breath. I don't hunt because I can't see the fun in killing a defenseless animal at 200 yards with a highpowered rifle. However I can appreciate what I saw that guy do. Not saying I'd be interested in doing it but I do appreciate it. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  10. I don't wave. I give the head nod. Living in southern california, if I waved to every bike I saw, I'd be riding one handed. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  11. hah! this thread is ridiculous Yep we should be more humane during war. 12. I really do enjoy guns. When I was 11 my dad bought a Ruger 9mm for home protection. First thing he did was take me to the shooting range to teach me gun safety. From then on we went shooting 3-4 times a year. When I was 16 I joined my highschool shooting team. We shot twice a week and competed on Saturdays. After graduation I joined the Marines. Imagine what "toys" they trained us to play with. 6 weeks ago I took my current girlfriend shooting on our first date. It was her first time and she loved it. So I've spent my life around guns and to this day I am very uncomfortable when some pulls one of their "toys" out for show and tell. I usually have to ask if its unloaded and then request to visually inspect its unloadedness, which is sad. Why is it people make me ask? Anyhow, a lifetime of guns/shooting and not a single incident occured. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  13. Ealier this week we were discussing why women like "bad boys." Although we did agree that women do like bad boys, we could not agree on what a bad boy actually is. So DZ.commers, we turn to you.... What is your definition of a "bad boy?" www.FourWheelerHB.com
  14. You should be ashamed of yourself. That burgler probably shit his pants when you jumped out with your firearm. Now I hope you learned your lesson. Get rid of all your firearms and be a proper little victim like so many people want you to be. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  15. Interesting story. How was it he didn't run when he saw you with your firearm? www.FourWheelerHB.com
  16. Why not? Obviously you've never had to defend yourself let alone with a baseball bat. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  17. No. You have every reason of the world to be proud Americans. If you just have a look back on your derivation: Germans, French, Italians, not to forget the good old red skins... I think you owe native americans an apology. edited to add: lol how fitting you live in germany. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  18. Hmmm... I agree. We should put our tails between our legs, lay down our weapons, and run for the hills like a certain country I know of. I agree here too. Us Americans are far too proud. I mean what do we really have to be proud of? Well I think we have a lot to be proud but you are right....it would be a hell of a lot of easier to be cowards if we weren't so proud. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  19. Wow! How very profound. Personally, I am accustomed to only surrounding myself with people who agree with me and my viewpoints. I mean, you know....how could I respect anyone that doesn't agree with me? Really, my opinion is the only correct one....do you agree? Think about it. We don't even need to talk. We can just sit there, stare at eachother, and nod. Its great! www.FourWheelerHB.com
  20. Actually the military and intelligence agencies hide a lot of things from congress. And by "hiding" I mean, they usually have a "pool" of money designated for classified projects or covert operations. Congress allots money for this "pool" and is almost entirely in the dark as to what it is used for. Why? Because time and time again, politicians have proven that they cannot keep their mouths shut when it involves national security. It is completely reasonable to think that these covert prisons are to prevent people from raising a ruckus like they did about Guantanamo. Maybe they do feel the need to detain suspects indefinitely when they think they have good reason and they don't want people to know they've got them. Like has been mentioned twice... maybe they don't want people knowing the locations so we don't have any hare-brained escape attempts. Maybe they keep them covert so they can use the interrogation techniques they feel are necessary that people here would cry about and claim as torture... when it really isn't. Maybe they don't want the cooperating countries revealed for their own protection. Enough possible reasons yet? Either way, I'll say it again... I should hope that, even if only for the base reason of money, these prisons aren't just used for any average guy who is remotely suspected as a terrorist. That would not make sense. Instead, I would think that they'd be used for higher level people who are more than just SUSPECTED of being a terrorist. (Kinda like you KNOW Osama is a terrorist, trial or not... reality) And yes, these people were endowed with the same rights as all of us, but pretty much gave them up when they made the decision to be a terrorist. You make many valid points there trent. Its almost as if you read the article I posted the link to. www.FourWheelerHB.com
