    Michelle, Michelle, Michelle.....I'll try not to be harsh but let me say first that I think your professor is wrong in bringing up politics in front of his chemistry class. However, you were as much a party to situation's escalation by challenging him in front of HIS class. I don't understand why you would do that and to what end? Also what makes you think that this "incident" could possibly affect your grade? Did he threaten you? If not, don't you think you might look the fool by bringing this incident to the Dean's attention especially since you actually DIDN'T hear the professor's conversation with the other student?     John is just trying to pull the wool from the eyes of the sheeps that are Americans. I'm sure he doesn't really care about the gun ban in the UK other than it serves as a good example of wasted time and money. Yet many still continue to keep their eyes closed once the wool is removed. Even going so far as to clutch at the wool as if it were a security blanket that keeps them safe from the boogie men residing in the closet and under the bed. At one time a group of people got really upset about their guns being taken away from them. They decided the rights to own firearms, free speech, fair taxation, and religion were freedoms worth fighting for. They DIED for those rights. Yes the same rights we (Americans) enjoy today. How can any American sit there, on their hands, and watch as our rights are impeded little by little every day just so we can all have the perception, the illusion, of being safer? www.FourWheelerHB.com

    I too am interested in law enforcement and have been doing my research. The main thing I have to do is answer the question....why do I want to be a cop? Because its freakin dangerous. It also made sense to SAY it was abandoned. http://www.fas.org/spp/military/program/asat/almv.htm As far as ASAT weapons development goes, I would have to hazard only a guess that it is not in the form of a missile. It's far more likely that the "missile defense" is more viable, that or LASER technology. Edit to add: http://www.fas.org/spp/military/program/asat/ke_asat.htm I don't have more information on this program, but I believe it too was cut. If we had it to build over again, I'm sure we could fast-track it, but not with great results. Can't disagree with you there.

    One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the evil that was going on. He decided to send an angel down to Earth to check it out. So He called one of His best angels and sent the angel to Earth for a while. When she returned she told God, yes it is bad on Earth, 95% is bad and 5% is good.     If you do a little research however, you'll see that the Pegasus Missile program was abandoned shortly after that test. I doubt it was fully abandoned.     I grew up as an Air Force brat so was always the new kid. Everytime I moved there would always be someone from the "in" crowd that would test me. Being new there was noone who would stand up for me so I learned quickly that I had to stand up for myself to earn respect. These kids would pick fights with me by talking shit then shoving me. Fortunately, my dad taught me how to defend myself by blocking but never striking which came in handy. SO as they tried to shove me I would stand my ground, sweep my hands across their wrists, and shove 'em back out of my comfort zone. This would go on several times until a teacher broke us up. After that these kids realized I wasn't an easy mark and would leave me alone. No matter where I lived.... the same shit would happen. So if you parents out there are not teaching your kids how to defend themselves, you're making a serious mistake. www.FourWheelerHB.com
