Short sale and rent for a few years? Foreclose and rent for a few more? Life is too short to stay in a cycle of fear and frustration. I'm sorry I'm not going to spend too much time defending this but I have spoken with the banks and as it stand I would have to bring $100k to the table at closing. And I do not have the $100k on hand not able to "barrow it" I would rather not talk about this subject. OK will pick up the suppliments. Thank you well, you better talk about it...its worth 100K, or more. not sure of your state laws, but you need to check if your mortgage is "non recourse" or not. it makes a BIG difference whether or not the bank can come after you or not. Here in California, if it is your primary residence, and you HAVE NOT refied, you can basically walk away. a few weeks ago, when I was up in the SF bay area, I tracked down my brother who I had not seen in over 25 years. He is 16 years older than I, and had left home before I really knew him. He has lived in various vans all his life, working at a part time jobs, (one of which he has had for over 20 years, more impressive than many people.)...and yet, is the most positive, healthy eating person I know. He made 12,000 dollars last year, and yet somehow is happy, living in one of the most expensive zip codes in America. Yes, he is odd, and does suffer from OC behavior. But, he makes it work, he is at peace. The only time he ever asked for help was when he crashed his motorcycle and broke his leg in 3 places. My parents let him recover at their house. But when he was recovered, he left, and resumed his non materialistic, simple, happy life. Lesson here, less, can be so much more. ________________________________ Where is Darwin when you need him?

well, sometimes you just have to buckle down. being in real estate, i have seen equity go away at rocket speed. but if you don't sell, you don't lock in your losses. when i get in theses situations i say to myself...."until i can afford to have the life i want, i will have no life at all." hell, the guys in the military do it everyday, hunkered down in some trench, we certainly do it practicing yoga twice a week and getting to ride a motorcycle.

Since he held a PPL it shouldn't be hard to get. good point. but then the LSA would have to have approved lights too. some, like mine (trike), do not. been wanting to get some, but damn! pricey. What type of trike do you fly? I have been looking into getting one of those things. Most of the guys around here fly Airborne and Air Creation stuff. I fly a Solo Wings Aquilla (made in South Africa), 582 rotax 2 stroke, 64 hp. cruise speed 45 mph. very happy with it. i purchase this one used, had 60 hours on it. i added a BRS. i have a radio, and gauge pod. i really like this one because the hang post has a "bend" in it, so the passenger has much more head room. very, very, very, fun to fly low.

why didn't they just leave the Enterprise where it was...? "Kids need to be clear on the concept that "You can have all the freedom you can afford to pay for." In other words, when you pay for your own housing, food, transportation, education, insurance, etc, then you are free of parental rules.
