    HI, tomorrow is sunday why don't you go to the DZ and.....ok ok I just saw your profile, you are in Wisconsin are you guys jumping? any way... you have everything right, don't change the slider use the one that your canopy came with...if you wanna get a slider-stop get it, it's up to you...anyway I can't help but notice that you are considering in "getting" a slider didn't your canopy come with one? My personal opinion on your post? Your canopy is to big and you have a low number of jumps, get bumpers and just collapse the slider and leave it up there...and please don't make the mistake of putting yourself or others in a dangerous situation under the excuse of "Oh I was working on my slider when...." it's just not acceptable...jump more...and keep on asking questions...     I had forgotten about rec.skydiving...but let's hear the comparisons...I've jumped crossfires and downsized to a Jedei Sweptwing loaded at 1.75:1 I'm sticking with my Jedei for a long time...the flight performance of the Jedei was way ahead of it's time when it came out...now it has been surpassed by the Sam...I'm too wanting to hear about the Katana...     well, think where you AAD is located...I hope you don't think that little thingy with the button and the screen is the sensor. the AAD has to work stuffed between the middle of your reserve AND main canopies...     ohh let me lend you an Iron and a Ironing table..., no, just kidding, do this, make a solution of bleach, battery acid, salt water, urine (has to be after after many beers and the first one in the morning) put it in the washer along with the canopy, and last but not least throw a few sheets of sand paper, the ones with fine grain though. set the washer on perma press. hehehe Practice, Practice my little grasshoper Felipe -- Blue Skies NO FEARS, NO LIMITS, NO MONEY...     Man, talking about doing it by your self, I'm thinking on doing somethig like that , My friend in Bolivia needs a new set of lines for a Blue Track (Parachute de France) I plan on building the lines here leaving the side that will be attached to the canopy open then I'll just do a stichless finger trap as explained here and that's it!....wait...hell no, is not gonna work, I just realized that as I was writing this post!!! ok..I take a front line cascading to the A and B lines...It'll work only for the A lines and what about the B lines!....sorry for not erasing this post as I answered my own problem... Does anybody have any ideas? Now Waiiiit a minute....A car upholstery shop back home might have a bar tacking machine hmmm by the way I made my first rapelling harness at one of these shops when I was 17 Years Old, made out of seat belts...they do have powerful machines....     Man, I wasn't accepted in the airborne in my country (Bolivia), because my mother asked a doctor friend of hers to make me fail the physical test and so I was "diagnosed" with Vertigo, loss of equilibrium, and dissynes, anyway, then I came to the states and first thing I did was to enroll into AFF yeah! my mother was so against me jumping but she's ok now...     Hey guys!, I need to buy a reserve Freebag and pilot chute for a Student naro container, I already wrote to aerodyne and am waiting to see if they have it for sale, anyway if they don't have it ,do you know what freebag from what other manufacturer might fit in it?     ohhhh my log book is filed with 5 more jumps on this date, down here in Skydive SoBe today was just a beautiful day! only 1 cutaway...the whole day hehehehe (my friend gonzalo from argentina rode line twists to 1,800 then had to cutaway...)
