    Skydive SpaceCenter in Titusville is really good----ride from Orlando, bunkhouse (almost free), 15000 ft min jump altitude in less than 8 minutes--great view of the Kennedy Space Center, the beach, and the ocean. Good vibe for the less experienced. The problem with Florida is that there are so many good choices!!!     go to the website for xdivers. u can email or call jason (dzo). very cool dude. the dz has several hotels they recommend and have deals with. you can find much cheaper hotels than 120/night. you drive on the right side. renting cars (recommended) is the same as here. make sure your insurance covers u for a rental in pr. get a letter from your insurance co stating specifically that u are covered for a rental in pr or u may get jacked on rental insurance in pr. u fly to san juan. it's about an hour to the dz. the view is great. i've been the last 2 years and would be going again except i decided to go to oz for feb this year. you'll have a great time.     I'm going over there in Feb and have done some research and emailing and I'm going to Sydney Skydiving in Picton. Sounds like a good dz. They seem to have the biggest fleet including a skyvan.     look at xdivers in pr. they have a boogie in early feb with big planes-- and of course all water related activities, too. i've gone the last 2 years so i could jump and surf in warm water--great time with great people. see their website.     Titusville is a great dz. We always go to at least 15000 in 7.5 minutes--we have a bunkhouse--we have organizing and coaching--a great view of the beach and space center--and low timer are welcomed and encouraged.     at titusville you will go to 15000 min in 8 minutes. If you are talking about 8/27-8/28 there will be rw organizing so you'll have people to jump with. also, it's fairly close to deland.     it is hot in florida, but at skydive space center (titusville) we go to a minimum 15000 in 8 minutes, we have a free bunk house (with a/c), you can get picked up at the orlando airport (free), we have free organizing, great people and facility, great view of the coast and space center. on the weekends you can do as many jumps as you want. see their website.     Since you have not been jumping for several years, I would suggest you make a significant number of jumps and focus on your accuracy before you consider a beach jump. Generally, there is significantly more risk jumping on the beach than at a big dz like Zhills. The outs are ususally limited or non-existant and landing in the water is not a desirable option.     Titusville (Skydive Space Center) has a FREE bunkhouse--actually a fully equipped 3 br home with internet, tv, kitchen, etc..--the fastest climbing jump ship in the country--15000 ft min altitude in 7-8 minutes--18000 ft for a few dollars more--rw and freefly organizing for all experience levels--great people--unreal view of the space center and ocean--onsite rigger and loft---need I say more?
