These have actually been in the pipeline for a while now, but unfortunately i've held them up. I had a cold. Long story. If you're local, would be more than happy to show you how to rig the suit - or reach out to a coach, they'll all know

I've heart only about PIA and PD sizing method before.

anyone pay for packing class during A license training
phoenixlpr replied to firematic47's topic in Safety and Training
I`m with you on that. It seems that most of the people pay more attention when paying for something, than when it`s free. NOT when you make them jump their own pack job!!!!. I've seen rookies struggling with new canopies.....but still pay no attention. -

phoenixlpr replied to firematic47's topic in Safety and Training
No, I did not. I'd charge people for that. Free things seem to have no value. 1-4 jump tickets might provide enough attention. -
What helmet lens are you using them on? I was wondering that too...I thought you weren't supposed to use rainx on plastic? How rainx would help if you have the fog or frost inside?

What is US 135?

27 Cells for competitions and daily work
phoenixlpr replied to tamagotchi's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
If you come to Sweden (Gothenburg) you can test my SC-77. Thanks! I consider that. I'm not sure if I'm ready for WL 3.2. Were you jumping that in Näsige last year during the WS and FF boogie? -
So you could not find a more expensive than Cookie G3 ? I got one Z1 and I have lost one Z1 already. It's OK if it is a good fit on your head and just make sure if the chin clip is in good shape too.

did you try posting in the alti-2 forum? http://forum.altimaster.com/forum.php

There is a lot better way: sell your gear if you don;t jump it and jump the money you get it for that.
-
LOL.
-
Hell yeah! That would a sucky way to blow four hundred bucks... [edit: lost a helmet and ditter that way once early on, I know of which I speak ] Same goes with a faulty strap. Been there....

It turns the display off after some time. It turns it back if it detects "take off".

Velo needed 2 folds?? It can be a big one.

It's just a gadget for most of us. You can get your gear packed by almost anyone with stock slider. Would you still use a packer with your removable slider or RDS? I'd rather you slider locks than 3-5 minutes of rigging after every jump and a risk of dropping a 300 Euro worth essential part of my gear mid-air.
-
this is the truth!! i got a main with 100 jumps or so on it and it takes me 3 to 4 times as long to pack it as anyone else in the area. A little of this could be my level of experience but, even when i paid a packer he takes twice as long as a "broken in" rig. Also doing some other research specters are a tad bit harder to pack it seems... Or at least a few people said so on the canopy reviews. I'd just check the recent packing threads around for tips.
-
Sounds like splitting hair. I got no significant wear on any of my canopies over hundreds of jumps. I got some old video here. Good 4 you.
-
Because we know how to pack the other way. And it's quicker to bag the canopy the normal way. I have also heard, might be a rumor that is not true, that this reverse S-fold wears on the canopy more. That would imply your "normal" S-fold would cause wear too, because its about the very same in the bag. Anyway, you can climb the peak only from the north side or .... you might got more wear on your shoes.

I agree. He could be quite dumb. I'd say I had an un-recoverable spinning line-twist, so I had to cut-away and use my reserve.
-
I've seen one build from a wings. It has 5 handles. Throw-out for the 1st(main). A set of cut-away and reserve handle outside for cut the 1st and deploy, the 2nd,"reserve". A set of cut-away and reserve handle inside for cut the 2st and deploy, the 3nd(reserve). I was built for tandem in mind. You suppose to use the outer set first.
-
It is also funny if you activate the 3rd after cutting away the 1st in order. The 2nd in order my have better cut-away system, than a hook knife.
-
Have you also seen that part when pilots told it's not nice to fly other's vortex? I can ride my budy's trail, all I got is falling out of the sky. I can fly under you, if you would fly a wing suit, all you would feel is loosing lift and falling out...... A wing suit is not a powered aircraft (with those known exceltions).

You can check this.

Tandem Instructor Requirements (by request)
phoenixlpr replied to diablopilot's topic in Tandem Skydiving
That is what I meant. Most of us don't have a chance to spot with bigger planes, specially jumping as guest on some DZ.
