  1. Looks like the US is in the same pickle South Park Elementary was in a few years back, having to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.
  2. If they nominate a loser, yes. If you will recall, that is how we ended up with Trump in the first place.
  3. The PA primary is held so late, it makes no difference who we vote for
  4. I think you would be correct, however we were told that about his first term and what a lot of folks remember is low unemployment, low gas prices, low crime, tough on China (a policy Biden has kept in place) and a secure border. The thing that ended his presidency was COVID, and that seems a distant memory now. If Trump gets a second bite of the apple he will fill his administration with obsequious yes-men (and women) who will amplify rather than moderate his impulses. Then it will be Katie bar the door.
  5. That is all beside the point, Trump’s support is a relatively solid 45% Biden’s support is a very soft <40%. If the election were to be held today, Trump would likely win. Come on Ds you can do better. Nobody wants to start 2025 with a Trump revenge tour.
  6. https://www.latimes.com/projects/kamala-harris-approval-rating-polls-vs-biden-other-vps/#:~:text=As of Sept.,update as new polls arrive. Two things… First, thank you for admitting the obvious, Biden is senile. Second, “as of Sept. 19, 39% of registered voters had a favorable opinion of Harris and 54% had an unfavorable opinion — a net rating of -15 percentage points”
  7. From a second Trump term. I really thought Trumpism would have faded by now but unfortunately I was wrong. With Trump polling better than all of his Republican rivals COMBINED, it looks like he will be the Rs nominee. On the other side of the ledger we have Biden who, some polls show, is behind in the crucial battleground states. Add that to his deteriorating cognitive abilities, his very unpopular VP, plunging consumer sentiment, rising gas prices, urban crime sprees, inflation and an out of control border and it makes a second Trump term seem inevitable. The Ds need to open up their primary and find a candidate who is not so gravely compromised. (I will add, Trump’s VP will likely be Vivek who will destroy Harris in the debates and siphon off the Indian American vote)
  8. Biden is just as unsullied as Senator Menendez. With Biden it is just a few million in a joint banking account with Hunter and a couple of troves of top secret documents, with Menendes, it is just a few hundred thousand dollars in cash stashed in various envelopes and a couple of dozen gold bars. Nothing to seek here folks, move along, move along.
  9. It is a yoke I am destined to wear, I suppose it is my version of “White Man’s Burden”
  10. Automation will allow them to find more “fulfilling” employment
  11. Yep all we need is a better tax policy and we could get that lower quintile out of the bottom 20%
  12. A PCV Valve still less than the premium one pays just to virtue signal in one’s coal fired EV
  13. Very touching, yet you still have yet to explain what manual labor jobs will be replaced by high tech in a meaningful way
  14. Just as the power-focused Democrat establishment is behind Biden
  15. Could you please explain what manual labor job are going to be replaced by high tech?
  16. The cluster munition is more of a tactical warhead, useful against troops in the open, light transport and lightly armored vehicles. They are nearly useless against bunkers, tanks, railways and bridges.
  17. Or EV, solar or wind companies, let the market decide no need for government molestation. BTW I still haven’t received an explanation on why I was given a time-out for describing the attributes of the AR platform on a forum that EXPLICITLY lists guns as an appropriate topic of conversation. In the absence of an explanation, an apology will suffice. That is if you have a shred of integrity.
  18. It’s no more a mystery than what happened to those manual loom operators or check out clerks. They moved on to other, and often better, vocations.
  19. Why don’t you pay them enough to afford housing?
  20. I didn’t make an argument, I made a statement. I should have known you wouldn’t understand the difference.
  21. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12551439/used-electric-cars-price.html Dealers have warned that Electric Vehicles (EVs) are sitting on forecourts for 'months on end while they haemorrhage value', with some at risk of selling at a loss if the market does not recover.” “Figures revealed earlier this week also showed that sales of new zero-emission vehicles to private buyers have fallen by more than 11 per cent.” looks like it’s not just the US market that has tapped the brakes on EVs. Sorry Phill.
