  1. I appreciate that. I know that when you and BillV accuse me of backpedaling, it is tantamount to you knocking over your king.
  2. Malaria deaths: 1,000,000+ Yellow fever deaths: 30,000 It just goes to show how desperate global warming alarmists are. They have to resort to misleading headlines and hyping a hypothetical non-problem.
  3. He has the M&P Tactical, The M&P Competition has a better muzzle brake, two stage match trigger free float handguard and a better barrel. It also costs twice as much as the Tactical version.
  4. Uh, World War Two started in 1939 NOT 1941 and the Zimmerman telegram was sent in 1917, three years AFTER the beginning of World War One. As I said "stay in your lane" BTW thank you for the complement
  5. Lets get back to the original topic. I already have lots of garlic, but I am looking at getting some garlic specifically for three gun competition. I am looking at a Smith and Wesson M&P 15 Competition with a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6X24 optic. Thoughts?
  6. Imperialism and nationalism caused the wars NOT capitalism. Capitalism generates the wealth that makes the modern welfare state possible. You can’t redistribute wealth if you don’t make it in the first place. Capitalism is responsible for bringing BILLIONS of people out of poverty.
  7. If capitalism was to blame we should have had WW3 and WW4 by now. Both WWI and WW2 were the result of European nationalism. Both times the US had to intercede and save Europe from itself. 3x if you include the Marshal Plan and 4x if you count the Cold War. My undergrad was in international political science (it was called Foreign Service back in the day) so I do know a thing or two about it.
  8. Tell that to the Soviets Stay in your lane professor you look foolish when you stray.
  9. 2082? Ford makes more pickup trucks in one day then all of the Teslas sold in the UK in an entire month.
  10. That is why I am for fracking and natural gas. BTW your study did refute radioactive kitty litter.
  11. About as radio active as kitty litter https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/glow-cat-glow/
  12. Quantify “little bit” Just ran an online calculator from a solar installation website. Upfront cost $21,000 (with incentives, AKA taxpayer $$$), twenty year savings $6000. Presumably my savings would drop as efficiently drops as the useful lifespan ends in about 30 years. Full disclosure, I ran the numbers on one of my rentals so there is less than massive rooftop real estate. When I ran my primary residence it said “information unavailable, please contact your local solar panel installer” My primary residence also has several mature trees that block southern exposure, so it looks like solar is not an option for me That said, if the cost were $6000 and the savings were $21,000 I would break out my chainsaw in a heartbeat.
  13. I did think I said “primarily”. It’s not just capitalism, we must not forget guns. Right about now the folks in Hong Kong are wishing they has a Second Amendment.
  14. If you hit anything bigger than a cicada, in that thing you're done for

  16. The US is demonstrably the most successful, because it is primarily a capitalist system. Then again it depend on the metric one uses to determine "success". If you want to avoid the scourge of income inequality then the socialist Venezuelan model is clearly superior.
  17. Unless I’m forced to buy an overpriced EV and pay more for electricity, right?
  18. Do we have wind and storage now? (actual commercial deployment, not just in the pages of Popular Science) BTW just listened to a piece on NPR about the environmental nightmare of dealing with the blades of aged out windmills
  19. France makes nuclear work. In fact if it were not for Germany’s neighbors it’s grid would crash from the unreliable and sporadic production of its renewables.
  20. I was just kidding (notice the winking emoji) Thank you for your service.
  21. Fine, we will go with your definition. It makes it no less amusing.
