I pay for the roads as well. You guys are just pissed off that Biden’s policies are backfiring. Border and guns being notable examples.
-
I pay in taxes the equivalent of a median income wage earner. No COVID freebies for me. I pay for a lot of others free stuff.
-
Lower regulation, lower taxes, secure boarder, lower prices for guns and ammo, energy dominance, low gas prices, low inflation....IOW the kind of country we had before the pandemic
-
The poorly run ones will, Remington for example, however their manufacturing capacity continues to run full throttle under new management.
-
Under Democrats prices for guns and ammo skyrocket. I loaded up (forgive the pun) on ammunition during the “Trump Slump”. Got thousands of .22, 5.56 and 9mm only two boxes of 6.5 Creedmoor left though . If either the House or Senate flip during the midterms or the SC brushes back Biden’s assault on the 2nd Amendment things should get back to some semblance of normal.

Or they actually believe Biden when he says he wants to ban MSRs. https://www.forbes.com/sites/ginaheeb/2021/03/23/biden-calls-for-assault-weapon-ban-after-colorado-shooting/?sh=b6116155a355

Trying to pass laws in the wake of a shooting that if fully implemented before the shooting wouldn’t have prevented it. That is lame and stupid.

Biden shatters monthly gun sales number by hundreds of thousands setting an all time record. March 2020, panic buying at the start of the pandemic 3,740,000+ March 2021, pandemic under control 4,690,000+

If it is so evident the wall doesn’t work, why is Biden restarting construction?

So why is Biden restarting Trump’s wall?
-
It looks like “Trump’s Nasty Wall” is going to be repackaged as “Biden’s Friendly Border Barrier” and construction will resume. This doesn’t make a lot of sense because the Democrats told us walls don’t work.

Why was ethanol taxed? Why do politicians favor fossil fuels? Why didn’t the government tax kerosene instead of ethanol? If they are a net drag on the economy why do they still get subsidies? “Coal oil was discovered in 1846; kerosene became available from petroleum after 1858. Kerosene was the fuel of choice until gas lighting or electric lights became available. As measured by flashpoint, kerosene is much less flammable (fp 150-185 deg F, vs 95 for turpentine, and 55 for grain alcohol).”
-
“The flammability of burning fluid posed a hazard. Spillage could start a fire. In 1853, Scientific American reported thirty-three deaths from burning fluid lamps the previous year. The most significant incident was the St. Louis Theater fire on June 12, 1846, in Quebec City, Canada. The fire began when someone knocked over a burning fluid lamp; 45 people died.” And nobody taxed camphine the government taxed liquor.

Kerosene overtook whale oil in 1870. No government program or subsidies needed. The subsidies began when politicians realized they could tap into the cash cow of the petroleum industry. It’s worth noting the oil and gas industry contributes more than $35 BILLION to federal coffers via gas tax alone, making five billion seem a paltry sum.
