  1. Good luck with AFF. Youll love jumping your own canopy + taking control yourself. DeLand Kicks Ass Did AFF there at christmas. Blue skies (as if that was an issue in florida!!!) Adi
  2. You could possibly do that on a HAHO jump. But not if you were opening low, as this guy says. Adi
  3. 16's the magic number in England! And anyway if you put the together theyre like 32!!! Am i bad??
  4. Trust me Heather - u really dont want to know!!!
  5. BEER! Email me so i can give you the shipping address!!! Adi
  6. I think its very important to learn the basics on a lightly loaded canopy. One on which you stand up the landings every single time. But then if you want to progress further I think you need something that will chalenge you somewhat (without full on kicking your ass). This way you continue on a fast learning curve + dont get bored/complacent with the more docile canopy. Adi
  7. Anyone wanna open a DZ with me?!!! Adi
  8. Twisted! - I like it!!! Adi
  9. Well done on gettin into med school. Im at uni in the uk at the moment. Opposite problem tons of time no money! Seeing as youve got tons of cash and no time to jump do ya wanna sponsor me! Adi
  10. I started jumping christmas 2002. I now have 235 jumps. Adi
  11. Why can I never see that happening? Dont get me wrong - it would be great!!! Adi
  12. Wrong! You've gotta spend all of it. Adi
  13. I think the way things are done at perris is a good example. In the grass landing area only 2 directions parallel to runway. Follow 1st person down, regardless of wind direction. If you dont feel you have the ability/want to land in heavy cross/down wind. Then there is a whole load of extra landing space you are free to use, youve just gotta walk that extra 50 yards. With everyone who is landing on the tighter grass area going the same way possibility for collisions is pretty limited. Adi
  14. I was out with Al Macartney. We were at DeLand christmas + new year, so we probably crossed paths. Being a pretty big DZ though i was struggling to remember names/faces! (prob due to excessive beer - arent 1sts gr8!) Busy working out what to do on the jumps! The new year party kicked ass! We were the crazy brits who were all dressed as 70s chicks! Man we looked HOT!!! Adi
  15. Hi All Thought I should probably take the time to introduce myself. Did AFF at christmas over in DeLand. Became hooked. Did about 10 jumps in the cold harsh land that is England when I got home, then went out to Perris for easter. Just about managing to jump in this country now. Feeding the addiction + fighting the cold/tons of regulations that try to stop you jumping as much as possible. Will be back out in Perris this christmas (only cos I cant afford to get there earlier) to get some more surf training + tryout BM . Cya Adi
  16. Im getting into skysurfing at the moment + ive heard that you can get alot more control by wearing web gloves. Anybody know where i can buy a set or is it just a case of attaching extra material to a pair of standard gloves? Cheers Adi
  17. Thanks kevin, thats kinda what i was worried about. Forking out the money for the classic + then being bored of it in 10/20 jumps. Adi
  18. On the number front il have about 350 at christmas. Il be looking to take a course before i do my first jump. Havent had to chop anything yet But i do jump with a board so im use to having a few more things to worry about. Cant wait to fly BM! Thanks Adi
  19. Im looking to try out jumping a wingsuit when im out in perris at christmas. Ive done loads of tracking dives. I was wondering if its essential to get jumps on the classic first or if it safe enough to try out the GTi? What did everyone else do? Cheers Adi
