Ack! So I thought I was smart enough to fix my toilet but apparentally I was wrong. It's doing that thing were it just keeps running all the time. I opened up the back and nothing appears to be broken up or bent or anything, the water just keeps coming up after the bowl is filled. I'm not sure what operation is supposed to happen to stop it and I don't have another toilet for comparison. Can anyone give me some plumbing clues please please please? I was raised in the south and in the southern tradition. My dad always taught me that giving your word is like a verbal contract, and he respects all of the verbal contracts he has made. Then I happened to check my computer clock, because who can leave without checking their away message (this is a always connected college student thing), because someone might have messaged me something important in the supposedly 7 hours since I'd gone to sleep. It was then that I found out it was only 10:30 which even left me enough time for a shower before class, meaning of course that I didn't have to wear the "I didn't have time to shower or I'd be late to class again" hat. I feel like I should be blogging this instead of posting it on dz.com because it will no doubt die a most painful DOA post death. At least in the blog I can convince myself that people read it and just couldn't figure out the comment button thing.
