I wish there was a way in which AlQaeda could be beaten. They are a more sophisticated enemy that the guerilla war you Americans lost in Vietnam, and there is NO WAY you will ever beat the murderous cowards of Al Qaeda. America is going down the tubes, and will not recover from this, no matter what anyone thinks. I recently gave up my hot air balloon licence, my fixed wing licence. I built 5 aircraft in total, almost all of them for someone else who had money. One of the aircraft I built can be seen on the internet, by clicking on < Siemens-Schuckert D IV > It is in New Zealand at this time. A couple of years ago built a fuselage for a Mark 6 Spitfire which is being finished by others. I deemed the guy who owned it as being rather unsafe so I quit. Bill Cole D-41

I have a very good BELL helmet, that I used since the early 1970s, and its always been kept in a helmet bag when not being used. I had to replace some foam padding inside, but other than that it is in extremely good condition. It is an excellent helmet, and the one I used on all demos when not using a camera helmet. If anyone wants it, and is willing to pay to have it shipped , the helmet is FREE to anyone declaring his/her head to be the same size. I will give it to the FIRST person with the correct size, and I'll need your mailing address once I confirm who that person is. They have a silver frame, and tinted lens.I like the way they fit, and visibility is quite good. I dont know the manufactrer, but they are like new...I used them for about 7 or 8 jumps in 2004. If you talk to Roy, ask him if he recalls the time when: Roy and others were in Florida practicing style. Roy had run out of money and had to do some hard thinking of how he was going to continue being able to pay for his jumps. The guy who handed me the chute on my 1st chuteless effort was Captain Larry Costello, of the Canadian army. Larry was also in Florida practicing style and accuracy with the Canadian team, Roy decided to borrow Larry Costello's Captain uniform from the Canadian army, and use it to get a free ride on an aircraft back to Ohio. He walked up to the counter, some other US service men saluted him, and Roy got his free ride home. He agreed to sign papers for his wife, that he would adopt her two children....for $2000.00 cash. She gave himhis money right after he signed, and he returned to Florida with all the rights of a military Captain and $2 grand in his hand. He continued his style practice, and when the time came, he was once again the US National Champion. Bill Cole D-41

Roy was flying for an airline. He has put on some weight but is still relatively healthy. He showed up at a jump event about two years ago, so Ive been told. I knew Roy when he was at his best, and filmed him with a 16mm GSAP camera, doing style, along with the late Eric Bahor and others. It took a week to get the film developed and printed, so i could screen it the following weekend. Bill Cole D-41

When we used to be climbing in the aircraft, we would take a note of how big the houses and trees were as we pased the 2000 ft mark so we could eyeball it if and when we jumped without an altimeter. Eyeballing the altitude was easy after some practice. Bill Cole D-41
