I told him to touch his pee pee and he looked from the left to the right as if to see if anyone was around then he walked behind the couch and stood in the corner and did "something" with his back to me. He kept looking over his shoulder. Then he came back looking a little flush. I told him to go pee pee and he did the same thing. You guys ROCK! Thanks Sunshine for posting this. I'm doing a lot better today. Not so good yesterday The doctor had to go in to the front of my neck instead of the back in order to avoid scar tissue from my surgery and in doing so managed to hit my nerve with the needle. I can't even begin to explain the pain I felt in my hand and arm from that. He corrected it and my hand and arm just went sort of numb. The injections themselves went fine. In recovery everything was fine until the numbness went away and the nerves just started burning. They gave me lots of drugs and sent me home anyway. The pain finally started going away last night and today I feel pretty good. These injections were due to my previous back/disc problem not my hard opening. That's feeling a little better too and I go on Monday for my Chiropractor to put my rib back into my chest...owie! I had to wait for the swelling and pain to go down. Damn I feel like such a whiney girl! Thanks to everyone who sent me a PM and posted. It was nice to open up DZ.com and see this when I was feeling so bad. It gave me a big smile. Again, YOU GUYS ROCK!

How weird! I watched Donnie Darko yesterday when I got back from the hospital.. Ok so half way into it I had to rewind because I was so jacked up I couldn't remember what happened but the second time around was great! I loved the ending. Total mind trip. Strange that you guys didn't like it. What's great is that we can each have our own theory as to what really happened. I went to see my Chiropractor yesterday after work and it looks like the rib in my chest is out and the cartilage, tendons and ligaments that hold it all together are torn and twisted..guh.. he can't touch the rib for at least a few days until the swelling goes down and the pain subsides a bit. It's sticking up about an inch more than the others. Looks kinda funny. I didn't even realize it was out in the back and he adjusted that and the rest of my back (which was quite out of wack itself) It feels a bit better today. Looks like the force of my neck whipping forward also might have tore up some of the scar tissue in my neck from surgery last year and oddly enough that's actually a good thing! Anyway he said most likely I'll be out for at least 4 weeks and up to 8 depending on how my body heals. Ah well guess I'll save some money up and buy something cool... Maybe some new gear! Haven't taken a weekend off from jumping in a long time. This is going to be weird. What should I do? -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.)

I was worried about that myself but looked at it when I came back to my senses and it looked fine. Vic packed it for me and went through it. It seemed ok. That's too bad Dave. This was the first really hard opening I've ever had on this Cobalt. It usually opens up a little janky but very soft and slow. I only have about 80 jumps on it though. Heck I got spanked more often by my Spectre than this Cobalt until this jump. I'm going to keep jumping it but you can bet I'm going to be a lot more careful packing it.

I was planning on going and am on the list in the other thread but with whatever's going on in my sternum right now I might have to skip it. Hey maybe I'll just go for that. At least I'd still have some fun and be at the boogie. If I go then yeah I definitely want some time in the tunnel with the FB! I tie my three rings together when I pack and then undo them at the end. My lines are always pretty damn even. I'm sure it was the slider. You can see it's about half way down and the canopy is all the way open but open flat, not inflated at all. Gah! It hurts to breathe.

I usually open in a track. Roy was just practicing his opening shots for tandems so I opened in front of him. I'm sure it was my packjob though. I think the slider may have come down a little. Ok last weekend I had the hardest opening I've ever experienced or even seen and my friend Chopchop actually got it on video. He was practicing video-ing tandems and asked me to be the turkey.
