To each his own, having / paying for a dz website is a business / marketing decision just like any other. I write the website for my home DZ http://www.skydivemonroe.com and would have done it for free but my dzo and all involved insisted on some form of compensation, so I didnt argue. we recieve a tremendous amount amount of traffic every day, more than I anticipated anyway. I have seen LOTS of dz sites, and I have built and helped maintain certain aspects of many existing websites, including graphic templates for a few, installing cgi's etc for others, and one thing that I've noticed is that the average web surfer is amused easily (animated gifs etc), and really doesn't look for professionlism. While others still are quick to critisize a loading flash movie. Finding the right mix is what I think is the key. In my opinion most dropzones / or many other businesses dont realize the potential they have to reach targeted customers everywhere with online campaigns, especially dropzones. Where do all you guys go for information on Dz's when your headed out of town? (dz.com right?) So any dz thats not listed or poorly represented doesnt get the exposure to thousands of skydivers and countless interested whuffos! like I said to each his own! If you guys think your dz's website sucks - have your dzo drop me an email! LOL -
give the girl a break, shes just trying to make some jump money,(do ya blame her?) and she models her clothes herself on her website http://www.gwears.com C-28534 http://www.sunraydesigns.com

Well I'm not gonna get sucked in to the ol' point break king air lala- btdt Yes we have a king air in Monroe, its owned by skydive monroe and was never used for jumping until it was brought here. Actually it used to be used for some kind of medical transport I think, could be wrong. Since its owned and not leased/rented than it should be here to stay, but like mouth said things change sometimes :) C-28534 http://www.sunraydesigns.com

Dont try this at home Its prolly got 100 different names, but an electric 8 way, or whatever way, involves high voltage, a cut off cord with wall jacks, and two ends of some knives shoved in the ends for good grips (as was the case this time) One drunk fool grabs on to one knife end with the wire plugged up to the 110 V anothyer drunk fool grabs the other knifes end and you proceed to build your "way" with grips , ever so happily distributing the voltage through everyones body. The more people, the more resistance , less painfull. and vice versa if your drunk neighbor replaces his grip on your wrist with a finger to your forehead (third eye) , you see a strobe light effect, which I assumed was what the wave of AC current flowing through me head looked like- HAA C-28534 http://www.sunraydesigns.com

I got down to 4 -LOL even got to see the strobe! how far can you guys go? C-28534 http://www.sunraydesigns.com

Yeah, I member reading on it that it was made in Raeford - good deal. Its hooked up with the killline and smaller "bridle" peice going through the bags grommet to the top of the canopy, with one quick link there, and the two pieces where the kill line comes out of the bridle are folded opppsite of each other, to allow the kill line to be exactly in the center, with the second quick link there to keep it in the center, around it and through both pieces of the bridle where it splits. The only other thing I've noticed about monkeyfists is that they like to cock back farther than the original marking, so it looks white but its cocked past the mark - I jusat marked a new spot with a black magic marker, and yes I'm sure its past the original mark and not forward. Right now D is 200 plus other req, but I hear a change is being discussed ( to 500 ) C-28534 http://www.sunraydesigns.com

Put a 24" Monkeyfist on A J-5 w/ safire 219, the non collapsable PC that came with the container was 27" I notice a veRy short hesitiation than what I was expecting when I throw out, could be me, I've never used a monkeyfist OR a kill-line collapsable up until this point (bungee and reg only) My closing loop is pretty tight, but not overly tight I believe, when I stretch it out it reaches about a half inch or so past the stiching for the velcro square on the back of the top flap, which I was advised that this is where Sunpath recommended it to be for a canopy that is approporaite for the size of the container. Anyone notice similar before? It doesnt seem to be hanging up or anything, just a split second later than the norm I was used to. Anyone have suggestions / observations/ advice? Good to hear from ya paula! I say get in on some "ways" with your reg jumpin buds and see how you feel in a familiar atmosphere, and when the time comes for the demo, go with your feelings. C-28534 http://www.sunraydesigns.com
