What dates will you be there? I am still trying to figure out how to get from Orlando to Sebastion to see the Bytch and Bendywendy.

How much photography have you done? Also, what are these pictures for? If she is thinking of sending them into some adult magazine, wouldn't a "tasteful" nude picture may be better? Of course, I am just guessing. I really, really suggest that you just take nice black and white nude pictures, instead of the ones that you described. For the first time in my life, I recently let my boyfriend (whom I completely trust) take a spontaneous topless picture of me with his digital camera wearing just a lei in Hawaii. It turned out soooo beautiful. I was floored! Nude or semi-nude pictures with a digital can actually turn out very, very beautiful. Anyway, I let him take many more, even though I am usually camera shy. He has had photography printed/published in the past, so he knew what he was doing. He even took a creative one in black and white with me against some white sheets that I was wrapped in. He loved how beautiful it looked.

Great post, Freeflybella! You have good intentions. Actually, Scott Jaco came from the same very small DZ that I did. We were a family there...no one was excluded. I know that Scott really loved that, as well as the extra altitude that we got. Weeeeee~ (It closed down many months ago.) Scott ~ If you read this, what people are trying to say (no disrespect) is that you should be careful in being a little more tactful and sensitive in what you post about DZs. Oddly enough, although I am very new, I have been clued in a little to the politics that occur on DZs by friends in the know. It's there, and I have even subtly felt the tension in the air and wondered what was going on with this one or that one. A DZ is a competitive business, after all, and employees and regulars may be posturing for rank, etc. Being on a DZ is a "society within a society" with issues and egos that are sometimes magnified. Yet, like I said, I am new, so it doesn't affect me too much. However, if I feel that there is tension around a DZ, I either face it/expect it to be that way or I take off to another DZ for the weekend and relax. I don't mind when men offer me advice at my very green, newbie level (I actually like it), but I could see how it could be annoying to the skygoddesses that could probably teach some of the guys a thing or two. One more female issue that I have only seen at smaller DZs is that of the "queen bee complex". Does everyone know what I mean by that? It's really quite silly and sad. Jimbo and Scott ~ Stop the insanity! Now, make up and go jump out of a plane together! Btw, Scott, if you go to ANY DZ on a weekday, try going on Friday as there are more loads. This week is especially slow anywhere as those that usually train during the week are at Nationals. Also, of those three DZs, Perris is your best bet on a weekday. Elsinore still has my heart on the weekends, but they are all the bomb if you have a great attitude!

Congrats on your new rig, Aubrey. I am curious as to what size (largest to smallest) mains and reserves fit in your rig? How much does the actual rig weigh with both canopies inside? Also, now that you have your own rig, where are you going to finish your AFF? Are you heading back to Gold Coast, or are you going to try to jump somewhere in Southern California?

Ohhh...I love the way that you think. I would be honored to jump with you! We could try to improve our RW skills together because I also want to be very good at 4-way, someday. Since we are trying to perfect our skills jump by jump (and are not anywhere near geting bored by this), I think that we will eventually get there.

Yes, it means laughing my ass off, but you know (as we are friends) that I didn't mean any ill will towards you with my post. Yet, I am surprised that you are talking about backwards DZs like that as you and I began to jump at Air Adventures West. I know that you liked it there, Scott. Btw, there is a free 2-way camp in Elsinore where you can learn more RW skills if you are ever interested. If I am free the next time that I see you at a DZ, then we should make a jump together. Hi Scott! No disrespect to you, as I only have 102 jumps myself, but I also was LMAO when I first read your post. In order to comment on belly flying, you should try some. At 65 jumps, I am sure that "jumper03" is trying to nail various exits and turn various points with others, not just doing "front/back loops and 360s"(that was AFF 6, I think). I am so biased, but I think that RW can be so beautiful and challenging on so many levels. Little details need to be perfect in order to make the skydive work well and a well-executed RW exit can take your breath away! You work as a team, and you eyes are glued (most of the time) on the eyes of the person across from you. Flying so closely to others while performing different maneuvers is amazing. It can also be so much fun if they smile or make silly faces at you! (A partner once read my lips as I yelled out, "Oh shit!" LOL!) Also, you have not flown in the mantis position, yet, because there is no way that you can be in the mantis and be looking at the ground! Your head and upper body are up high. See THIS link, under "Body position". Yet, even in boxman, why would you be looking down? If one is bored by a skydive, it is usually either because the skydive was too difficult for the person at the person's current level (and the person gave up) or because the skydive is too easy for the person (and, therefore, not challenging =boring). Believe it or not, (please, no disrespect to the FFs) freeflying seems boring to me (I know, I know...I'm weird! LOL!), but I will never close my mind to or rule out freeflying. It looks like it can also be so beautiful and challenging in a different way. Anyway, as you know, all my original close skydiving friends freefly, but it wasn't for me. I just love the challenge and goal-setting excitement that I feel with RW.
