  1. Dominic, thank you sooo very, very much for the ROCKIN' tunnel sessions that you put together for the Memorial Day Boogie. Flying 4-way in there with you, Justin and Steve late Satuday night was probably the highlight of the weekend for me. Thank you for that...and for your ongoing friendship.
  2. Probably right after me, Mel...not that it's anything to brag about...
  3. Skye, sweetie, it doesn't matter if you have to repeat a level. The important thing is that you are jumping, learning and getting comfortable in freefall. You are just nervous, and are making things harder on yourself. I know that it's easier said than done, but if you relax in freefall ...you will do just fine. Trust yourself and your instructors. Know that you can do this...mentally, physically & emotionally. I'm your friend, and I definitely believe in you.
  4. Gosh, I haven't read anything that is out of line in any thread. Dominic may be a flirt sometimes, but he is a very nice guy, whom I respect and trust completely. Maybe whatever this post is about could be handled via PMs? Just a suggestion...
  5. One! (Was that right?) Maybe we can just begin a list instead? Bridge the Gap List CurtismelanieJ Fallman Orchid Skyyhi Vanillaskygirl
  6. Once again, Jake and I had a perfect ride. Btw, nice pics, Dragon2! Thanks so much for sharing them! I'm so excited...I am going to be doing my first wingsuit flight very, very soon. I was told that I could have done it already, but I wanted to wait to do it on non-boogie weekend & until I have over 200 jumps.
  7. Andyman, have you read the title of this thread?
  8. I was shocked at how smooth it went, as well. I loved it, so we should do it, again & get video/pics next time. I can do a wingsuit rodeo on you any time that you ask. Maybe in a couple of weekends when I go back to Perris for my 200th. This coming weekend, I will be at Elsinore for Bridge the Gap.
  9. No, 'Chelle obviously wants to continue belly flying still per her post, as do I. Silly freeflyers...
  10. Wow! That's sooo impressive, 'Chelle! You must be a natural to freefly. Good for you. I understand if you maybe want to see other styles, but you are welcome to use my freefly pants for free, again, whenever I see you in Perris. I'll make sure to take them with me in my gear bag the next time that I go back. They were made for me (5 ft. 95 lbs.), but they seemed to fit you like a glove. We must be about the same size, girlie.
  11. I was getting offline, but this cracked me up!
  12. I am getting offline right now, but before I go I wanted to say....YEEEEEAAAAHHH!!! Please try to come out to S. Cal on July 9th, Val, because I will not be in the state during the July 4th weekend. I can't wait to meet you then!
  13. Page three...how sad! Come on out, everyone. Conundrum ~ This was what I was telling you about...
  14. Hey, nice post...didn't I have a post about this, too? I will bump that up, too...
  15. Actually, it was a dual wingsuit rodeo...and we had so much fun chasing you two. When asked why he turned into us, Glen claimed that you were accidentally creating a slight turn. Sure she was, Glen... Anyway, it was a fun ride. Jake and I had a perfect exit and ride, and we regret that it was not filmed. Btw, I have borrowed a wingsuit that actually sort-of fits me...
  16. I'm so happy for you, Arthur. Yes, James is a very sweet guy and so is Jeannie for buying your Pappillion, which I'm sure that you know that she doesn't need.
  17. Have a beautiful birthday, Casie!
  18. I just got home a couple of hours ago, and I had no camera with me at the boogie. Dom, thanks for a great Saturday night session in the tunnel. Justin, Steve and you are awesome both in the tunnel and out!
  19. I am so very, very sad to hear this news. I was told, yesterday about this. My thoughts and prayers are with Todd and his family. He is absolutely an amazing and wonderful person in countless ways. When talking, Todd makes one feel like the most important person in the room, and he smiles so much that you cannot help but to smile back. Todd was my first instructor in the Airspeed Tunnel Camp. His huge smiles and friendly, down-to-earth demeanor and humbleness instantly sets one at ease. He made me comfortable by talking about his old home DZ, which is my home DZ (Elsinore). Todd, along with Eliana, made sure to walk or drive me back and forth from the hotel to the tunnel when needed after my incident walking by myself the first night. He helped to assure me that they (Airspeed) would all be looking after me if I went to the Eloy Holiday Boogie. When I showed up in Eloy, Todd (although extremely busy, working on loads with more experienced people) found time to jump a 4-way with me and a group that he put together. I was the most inexperienced one (110 jumps), so I know that the jump was basically catered to me. This jump was a 15000 sunset load with zigzag marquis block that was my absolute favorite jump from the boogie. Todd is an incredible instructor and amazing skydiver, but, most importantly, he is a very caring, down-to-earth man who brings a happy energy to all whom he encounters. I'm hoping and praying for his recovery.
  20. Holy moly...a preggers Barbie? As long as she is not some kind of fertility goddess, she can come with. I will be taking my girls up with me...or at least, one of them per jump.
  21. Lol...Laurel, you are so cute, girlie! Btw, you'd be so proud of us. Ms. Jeannie and I are getting ready to initiate some more sistas this weekend via PM jumps. It's going to be awesome!
  22. I love everything, and I crave everything. I will eat and crave almost anything sour, salty, garlicy, sweet, juicy, syrupy, fried, sauteed, baked, etc. etc. etc. See? I LOVE everything... Mmmmm...
  23. Jesus...the fricken room is $104.60 per night, Jeannie, due to it being a holiday weekend. Thank God that we are splitting costs! Let me know if it's too much via PM.
