Same answer for me. We'd die young, rich and happy, Shannon!!! YEAAAAAAAH!!!!
-
The best answer yet!!!! LMAO...because I was going to write that same exact thing, Linny. I thought that it would be really, really funny (which it IS!) Then, I realized that I didn't want for people to think of me in that way... Besides, it wouldn't be correct for every time or even most. (Also, sometimes, I am too busy adjusting my costume to bend...)

So, does anyone know if the jumps are really $10 or not?

Skydive Atlanta Freefly Halloween Festival!!!!

MELI!!!! -
She should? I know tons of jumpers from the Midwest who go to camps in the winter. When the season starts up again in the spring, their newly gained skills are shown. You may get a little rusty, but that's no big deal. Yup! I have met those people in my own Airspeed camps that I have attended. That was why I wrote what I did. I took 2 months off after an Airspeed camp, but I flew much better when I returned to the air. Linny, have you taken any camps, yet? The camps are catered to drill in those new skills by repetition. Trust me! I love my friend, Evelyn, and I was one of the friends who STRONGLY encouraged her to take Dan's camp! However, I also think her and her husband should be able to compromise and keep the happiness flowing between them. Whether or not she skydives this weekend, that should be worked out between them, not us!

sure you can it's called muscle memory.. and without enough repetitions, your body may not have fully developed the memory. I just think it's a bad idea Reread this sentence that I wrote: "It sounds insane, but you can mentally train yourself while you are not physically training." Kate Cooper gave me similar advice (worded much differently, of course...as the sentence quoted was mine) to use while I am unable to skydive due to my injury. Visualization is key. Kate's words were more like this: "Visualize perfection in skydives often, especially while you are not jumping, and it will make returning to the air easier." Excellent advice, btw!

no more skydiving for me
VanillaSkyGirl replied to chuteless's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Bill, you have my and many others' respect for what you have done in this sport. -
I don't know about that. I went to a tunnel camp and, then, didn't jump for about 2 months immediately afterwards. My first jump back at a boogie with people whom I had never jumped with was explosive...in a good way. I do not believe that you can lose acquired skills. Right now, I am still recovering from a leg injury. My first jump back will be after not having jumped for four months. I do not plan on flying like shit when I begin jumping, again. It sounds insane, but you can mentally train yourself while you are not physically training.

Yes, Rantoul had those! (Thanks again, Bill!) I guess that they did have all kinds of food there. It just sounds like they know how to really chow down in Texas, which is pretty cool. For some reason, I always seem to be the lone person who eats like a horse, but I seem to manage to be around many people who are full with like 1/4 of a salad. Then, there I sit with my enormous meal. It friggin looks like I am eating for two. It's a little embarrasing...

Yes, I can imagine that it would be...

Maybe you are just going to the wrong boggies... Lol...touche! Sounds like you guys are going to have fun, Todd!

Remi is one the sweetest guys on DZ.com. He sends me PMs that are nice, but not too overly nice...if you know what I mean. I love that he always can take a joke at his own expense because he knows that we secretly love him and love to tease him, too! Furthermore, I don't get offended by his teasing either because he seems to magically know exactly where my line is drawn with that kind of thing... Maybe that's why he is so happily married. Anyway, I really, really look forward to seeing him and his lovely wife in Eloy for the Holiday Boogie. YAAAAAAAAAAAY Remi!!!!

I'm sure that all the guys were drooling watching those two cuties. Right Bill?

My absolute favorite picture from Scott's pics was the one of Chuckie "showing his moves"...LMAO. I have looked at that pic every time that I want to laugh...he looks so cute and funny! I hate the close-up of me in my drunken speldor...that is one of the worse pics that I have ever taken. From my pics, I love all the aircraft that I took pics of at the convention, but I wish that I had even more pics of more aircraft. The pics of you and Katie roller blading, I also love, Wendy. You two were so cute!

PM sent.........you know I take care of you sweety. Thank you, Clay!

Cool! I'd love to see it, Clay. The only thing is that I cannot open your sig line video on my MAC. Hope the new one works out for me.

That's a beautiful wingsuit. What color blue is that?
-
Why? Maybe i'll decide to go swimming or kayaking. My life doesn't revolve around skydiving. I'm so happy that you said that, Sunny One. I completely agree with you. I LOVE skydiving and want to excel in it as much as possible, but there is much, much more to life than just skydiving. I would never and have never given up spending special time with loved ones for skydiving. As a matter of fact, I was asked to be on a 10-way team for Nationals, but I cannot do it because the jumps would be on the same day (Oct. 9th) as a formal reception for my father that I have been working on for over a year. My family and other loved ones ALWAYS come first.
