    It depends on what you are asking about. Not at all with food or exercise routines (NEVER "work out"...NEVER), but with most things in life...YES. I tend to be very analytical, especially with important decisions. I, thankfully, have the will power to do what I feel is the "right thing" or in my best interest. Even with something silly like shopping, I can make several trips and compare quality and how much I like and want something before I buy it. Other times, though, I am completely the opposite and do something fun or different quite spontaneously, like go on a sudden trip/travel somewhere new. Of course, it's just a different side of my personality.

    Evelyn, please relax. It will be just fine. If you are having anxieties about spotting, then ask someone else to help you spot. OR ~ do what Michele (I think) does...go for an observer ride first.

    My ankle is much better, but it's not yet 100%...almost though. I still have not been in the sky (nor the tunnel)...my knee is locking up every so often now. I will hopefullybegin to jump again mid-November or so. (It will be just over 5 months then...) Thank you so much for asking, Bob.

    First, I have to say that I also read Lummy's story and was just dying with laughter, then I went on to read this one. I actually saw this episode and it was one of the funniest things that I have ever seen. Writing about it is not the same. The shock in his parent's voice as they walked in on their young, pudgy son screaming in fright and perilously hanging upside down, arms flailing wildly, barely hanging on from the very edge of his stetched out undies (which revealed more than just a little plumber's crack from all his weight) and suspended from the slanted fridge, which looked about to fall over completely with food just POURING out of it...well, it was just PRICELESS!!! "(audible gasps) OH MY GOD...JIMMY!!! (or whatever his name was) WHAT ARE YOU DOOOOING???"

    I know...that's exactly how I land, too, away from the main landing area. I was stating what is true for most people who jump at Perris. Most people land on the grass and must land crosswind sometimes. Seriously, the landing area at Elsinore is quite safe, as well. You can just avoid the turbulence by landing away from it, right?

    That's funny, many people prefer the landing area at Elsinore. It has a huge landing area (3 landing areas, actually) and has many outs, as well. Unlike Perris, the landings can be done in any direction, too. I love jumping at either DZ, and, of course, I miss both my Elsi and Perris sky family.
