Hi Jen, I don't think that "pin up girls" look like "pin up girls" all the time. You know what I mean? They are often the most insecure women, too. Men love women with high self-esteem, which most of us do not have about our looks, so I understand your concerns. Sometimes, the older you get, the better...you come to an understanding of the fact that it's ok to not look like those women in magazines.

Turtle, I wasn't even online during this poll. I have no idea what this poll is about or what you were discussing, but I'm definitely not surprised at the results after the incidents from a certain group of DZ.commers from several months ago. I was at Perris with a lot of real-life skydivers from all over the US laughing about some of this online drama the other night. Yeah, I am not worried about DZ.com polls...like the "hottest DZ.commer" or "funniest DZ.commer" polls. Do you think that anyone in the real world gives a flying (lol) poop? Think about it. Whenever I am online the least, people begin threads that somehow involve me. What's up with that? Edited: Believe it or not, I am finally going to bed and waking in 2 more hours & off to Perris. I can hardly wait to see what polls are begun while I am gone, tomorrow...

I agree with Flyingferret. Many skydivers may be beautiful people with wonderful personalities, but not all of them are more attractive on both the inside and outside than non-skydivers, imo. There are just as many non-skydivers who are very attractive with awesome personalities.

Hey Lany, can't you at least do some working tandems at some point? You have done one tandem already, right? Btw, the rig is VERY nice...beautiful colors. Do you know what size main and reserve fit in there? (Don't worry it's too big for me.) Also, good luck with your health. I have some health issues that can be quite intense at times, and I skydive, anyway. It can be done. -

I also don't understand why you think that what she did "crossed the line" with you. Weren't you both poking fun at the skydiver/whuffo relationship? It's a little funny in a morbid way. Don't take it so seriously. She couldn't have been trying to hurt your feelings any more than you were trying to hurt her by making fun of the fact that she doesn't jump, which is her perogative, by the way. She's still your best friend either way, and you are hers, right? Btw, what is "The Whuffo" movie trailer that you are talking about?
