  1. His avatar will not help him either. Val is disgusted by well-defined hip regions on males.
  2. Lmao...that's what I'd do. Unless I was with my boyfriend or in a sexy mood, then I'd wear the one that shows off my breasts/figure the best (without being too "in-your-face"). Since Cora IS skinny and has a great figure, in general, she just needs to decide which one will be the most fun and versatile to wear that night. For instance, will she dance? Is she worried about comfort at the end of the night? I agree that Cora should post pics of all. I am especially excited to see the green, corseted one. I am thinking that color sounds hot this season...and it will look amazing with her skin and hair tones.
  3. I'll third it. Mel* is one of the most beautiful people (inside and out) that you will ever meet. There are many others, but Mel has #1.
  4. Lmao at what I am reading. So, does that only apply to women?
  5. Oh my! I finally received and scanned a couple of pics of us. (Sorry for the bum shot!) Remember this, Jeannie?
  6. My first choice was you, Val! You speak your mind and always have witty, interesting topics that spark much interesting talk and even controversy (ooooh). You make this website entertaining and are hilarious in your PMs! Furthermore, your whole life doesn't revolve around skydiving, yet you do manage to take it very seriously. I love that you are so well-rounded, clever and funny. I also agree that Remi is another great choice for DZ.commer of the year. He always takes our shit , yet he has such a great disposition. I have never seen him be unkind towards anyone. He is incredibly friendly both online and in person...he seems to have a knack of knowing when you need a friendly word. I was barely at Chick's Rock, so I hardly saw anyone. Somehow, Remi managed to see and greet me with some hugs and cute french-style kisses. (Wait, that sounds bad! I meant the on-the-cheek kisses.) Anyhoo, he is definitely a pleasure to be around at all times...very funny with a quirky edge. I love Remi!
  7. You're such a sweetie, Arthur! I'm glad to know that your grandmom is ok.
  8. I was going to PM my reply, but I may as well post it since various people have been wondering if I am going to Eloy. I am most likely not going. Sorry, I will miss you guys/girls. Honestly, I want to spend more time with my loved ones during the holidays. My grandmother's health is not good right now. (I am very worried.) Also, my boyfriend's leaving for Iraq right after the holidays and won't return until August. I don't want to go skydiving and miss spending time with these people in my life. Also, I wasn't going to post this, but I am having surgery again in a couple of weeks. I have already postphoned it once for a rescheduled 4-way camp date. My surgery would have been this week, but now will be mid-December. If I have my surgery then, I couldn't jump anywhere for the holidays...unless I postphoned surgery, again, for after the new year. Learning 4-way skills is more important to me than the boogie. Also, my new move has been draining my resources as I have been buying so many new things for the home. Consequently, I have no main, and I HATE renting gear. I'd rather stay home and save my money for that main. Finally, my silly ankle/leg seems to really be feeling the cold weather and swelling, locking up (from stiffness), etc. It does not feel good. I HATE being cold. It's bad enough over here... Jeannie, most of the people that I want to see in Eloy, I can catch up with soon afterwards, anyway. Yes, Amazon, you're one of the people who I look forward to seeing. Next boogie?
  9. I'm not going to eloy this year. Well, but if I could go... What are the dates that you have this room reserved, Skye?
  10. My tub has hot tub jetts. Move to California, Val, and I'll let you use my tub!
  11. Oh my, you've figured it out. All of us extremely homely California skychicks are just jealous of your friend's sister. Gremlin ~ My boyfriend lives in San Diego. I've sent you a PM.
  12. You're bad! Btw, there are NO cute girls in California...NONE! (Hi Vicki! )
  13. I really like all those choices, but I've seen them all. Lost in Translation was just wonderful. Fridahas an amazing soundtrack, as well as looks gorgeous visually. Frida Kahlo's life was troubled and dark at times, but for the most part, she led a simply fascinating, exciting life. Sheena ~ Punch Drunk Love is not a conventional film, so I totally understand if you had a hard time watching it. It has some interesting symbolism. The harmonium (little piano) can be said to represent happiness in Sandler's character's life...the way that his life could be if he stepped forward and decided to truly live it. This potential for happiness later arrives in the form of his sister's friend played by Watson. Sandler's character struggles to leave his dysfuntional past behind and tries hard to accept his newly found happiness. His unknowing (because they are insensitive to him), but somewhat emotionally damaging (by making fun of him constantly and overpowering/controlling him and his needs) sisters are a part of this past. He decides to pursue happiness (he even follows Watson to Hawaii) and stands up for himself (physically and emotionally) before the movie is over. It shows him growing emotionally as a person and as his confidence grows, he becomes more confident with the harmonium, as well. I loved how he got the girl at the end.
  14. I bet Gremlin is wondering when the naughty nurse arrives... Lmao! Ok, Vicki wrote to me early today. She isn't swollen right now, yet, and her jaw is stiff. She has little pain...good pain killers! Her main complaint so far is that she is hungry (probably from not eating for a while before surgery). Sounds like she is doing pretty well!
  15. Poor girl, if you're in a tent at Perris, you must be freezing. Do your parents live nearby? (I'd offer you a warm room, but I live about 2 hours away from the DZ!)
  16. Earlier today (Monday), Vicki (vt1977) went into the hospital to have her wisdom teeth pulled. As some of you who read her thread in the Women's Forum may recall, she was quite nervous about it. Please post your special DZ.com healing vibes or PM Vicki directly. Let her feel the love. Vicki ~ Love ya and hope you feel much better soon, sweetie. While you are not yet set up in your new home for the internet, I know that you will be checking your PMs and DZ.com every so often. Also, Gremlin can, hopefully, be able to let us know how you are doing. (((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))
  17. That's EXACTLY what I thought when I saw the new avatar.
  18. HEY...I wasn't talking to YOU! (Btw, long time no see, Steve!)
  19. I LOVED Punch Drunk Love. Adam Sandler impressed me. It was a total departure from his usual stuff. I do NOT like Jim Carrey's usual types of movies (except for Liar, Liar...loved that), anyway. I'll probably have to rent this movie now to see what I truly think.
  20. Como Aqua para Chocolate (or)Like Water for Chocolate is one my all-time favorites. Agree with you about Lynch and Almodovar. I LOVED Red, Blue and White. I've seen them all, but I would see them, again. Sunny ~ I will definitely check out Amelie!
  21. Thanks Val! I just cropped a picture that DaGimp took of me in Perris (hence the "freefall hair") at the end of the Memorial Day weekend.
