  1. To sweet Alli ~ Oh Alli, it makes me so happy to read your post. You sound sooo happy, my lovely friend. I'm wishing you much love and continued happiness always. You deserve it because you are such a beautiful person, inside, outside and every way in between!
  2. That story is hilarious! Grandparentsare wonderful. She sounds strong, so keep your head up!
  3. I recommended fish and chips - with extra salt and vineger I'm sure that she is doing better eating all the mushy food! I know she is hating not eatin real food, though, and I don't blame her. Anyhoo, I'm bumping this up because Vicki seems to have more pain/discomforts over the last few days, than she had initially. Although she is not one to complain, she has told me privately that it's beeen difficult for her. She is mostly recovering solo for the last few days, and her pain meds make her feel a little off. She is coping, but the PMs and posts will help her more than you know. PLEASE leave her some happy, healing vibes, people! Vicki ~ You've always been there for me (and I'm sure many others), sweetie, so I hope that I can be there for you, too. Feel better soon, my friend! You'll be flying in no time!
  4. I have no idea. (Frenchy is so weird...but I like it. Lol!)
  5. You're calling Siouxie wierd? Fuck that! That's what I was thinking. I love Siouxie... I also love KODO, an amazingly talented Japanese taiko drum playing group. I've seen them live at least five times over the last 7 or 8 years! Taiko drum-playing is better explained here: Taiko is a drumming style of Japanese origin. While various taiko drums have been used in Japan for over 1400 years, and possibly much longer, the style of taiko best known today has a relatively short history, beginning in the 1950's. "Taiko" in general is often used to mean the relatively modern art of Japanese drum ensembles (kumi-daiko), but the word actually refers to the taiko drums themselves. Literally, taiko means "fat drum," although there is a vast array of shapes and sizes of taiko. Within the last fifty years since kumi-daiko was created, it has seen phenomenal growth to the point where there are over 8,000 taiko groups in Japan by some counts. Borrowing on thousands of years of tradition, taiko groups are now taking the style worldwide. Taiko promises to be the first native Japanese music to spread through the world.
  6. To all you veggieheads that don't cook....just an FYI for a pretty tasty option. Talk to your local SUBWAY manager or owner and request they start stocking the VeggiMax veggieburger or gardenburger Well, I never said that I was a vegetarian. I LOVE MEAT!!! (Yet, seafood is my absolute favorite...always has been.) I do, however, shop organic and am around many vegetarians as I live in SoCal. Ironically enough, I prefer garden/veggie burgers over most (beef) burgers, but I don't really eat at Subway. Thank you for the helpful hint, though.
  7. Do you drink alcohol? Yes, but it really depends on the parties and/or what I am doing. I drink socially about once a month or less. Heavily? No, I can't. I only weigh 95lbs In large quanities? No, I can't. I only weigh 95lbs Do you ever mix it with Tequila. Patron? Ummm... Do you drink watered down beers like Bud Ligh, Coors Light...anything Light? Sounds gross. No. Do you ever swear that you will never drink again and ten minutes later grab another dirnk? No, I don't swear that I will never do ANYTHING again. I don't exactly drink excessively, anyway. Besides, I have no regrets. Live life to the fullest! Do you have a rpoblem with dirnking? Not at all. Do you think you can outdrink anyone? No, I can't. I only weigh 95lbs Do you have unprotected sex when drunk. No...unless it's with my boyfriend...lol. In the shower? Yes, but my boyfriend and myself don't have to be drunk for that to occur. Do you drink during lunch at work? No, I can't. I only weigh 95lbs. (One drink = Drunk Rosa) Do you ever complain that your drink is weak? Well? Not really...I am a lightweight. I like to drink vodka (martinis, in particular), so it's usually not too weak for me.
  8. Sending out prayers for you and your grandmother. Hang in there.
  9. Yay Meli!!! I already have begun to try to make plans for this since you, Wendy and Alli have told me about it. I want to see you all, as well as Andrea and many of the other Florida people!
  10. I don't cook either, and I love Whole Foods Markets. There are tons of Whole Foods here in SoCal, as well as Trader Joe's, which is slightly less expensive. Vegetarians belong in California. Marry me and move to SoCal!
  11. Id' like to jump one day that weekend if it works out! I've never been out that way to jump.
  12. Sounds great! Spencer will be in Iraq by then. I will need my girls to cheer me up.
  13. does she drink alcohol? have i met her? Oh, oh, oh...I've met HER! I've met HER...one night during Nationals! (At least, MY evil twin did...lol.) Like the hats' background info, Arlo. Hope to see those in person, one day! Edited to say: Sunny looks so pretty in her avatar.
  14. Really??? I have Tommy's Burgers much more than once or twice a year and never after drinking...lmao! That means either I have to eat them less, or I have to drink more.
  15. That sounds great, Bill! Didn't we talk about an all girl weekend on here before? (Hmmm...I've never jumped out that way before.) Gia, will it be a girl's Vegas weekend, then?
  16. Cool! Have a wonderful, beautiful birthday, Kolla girl!
  17. YAAAAAAAAAY!!! I jump there sometimes, so I'm sure that we'll eventually meet (and jump together, someday). Heck, I could even initiate you into the Pink Mafia when you're ready. Good luck and have fun!
  18. YEEEEAAAAAHHH!!! You're all SO AWESOME, Heather! I was just telling a friend why I love all girl jumps, like girlie 4-way at Elsinore or Frikken-girlie-4-ways at the tunnel. The women are always so happy and supportive.
  19. Wooohooo...party with Gia in Vegas!!!
  20. I can hardly wait until next weekend, sweetie. See you then!
  21. Oh wow, I'm so happy for you, girlie!!!
  22. LOTS oif extra Alti at Lost Prairie.. and Super Barbie did get us some extra hypoxia as well. On my first (BEER!) Pink Mafia Initiation jump a couple of weekends ago, it was Karl's (Elsi's DZO and pilot) birthday. He asked me to sit next to him for a while, so we could catch up. I returned to sit with the others at around 9000 and told the other jumpers. We all sang him happy birthday, and my PM Barbie flashed him. (She even had pink sparkles on her little plastic boobies.) Of course, Karl hoped/asked fora real flash, which none of us PM ladies (myself, Gia, Darcy or Evelyn) did; however, Barbie still got us extra altitude and a HUGE smile from our beloved Karl.
