I heard about someone who froze, got gutter fixation and didn't finish the throw. Because she was bowling barefoot, she got really bad gutter rash when she failed to let go of her ball and went flying down the gutter, still attached to the ball. She claims that her looks are the reason that she was not properly taught how to let go of the ball.
