    That is exactly what I would do. It's not right to lead someone on or to accept gifts/use their money if you are not a close friend or SO. (Men, especially extremely rich men, try to do that kind of thing all the time with with women.) Unless you are close friends or lovers already, in which case it's just money and a thoughtful gesture, it's best to not accept the money or gift.

    Are you driving to Perris, no matter what? It may not be necessary. I think that you may be getting in too late to fly in the tunnel yourself as you asked about via PM. You would probably need an 11 pm or later session, and you really should arrive well ahead of time for coaching, tunnel waivers, etc. Another day or night, when you have some more time to go over everything well, is much better than rushing. We can also meet another night in the tunnel if you'd like.
