  1. Sounds like you have a main sizing issue. The fit of this is very specific to the container and main sizings. After all, that's pretty much what anchirs it to the container. Give the company a call and speak to the owner Henri. I guarantee you he'll do what's necesary to make you happy with it. (813) 788 1910. Tell him I (Gareth) told you to call if you want.
  2. Got' em all completed this week ! It's been a busy week at work, as you can tell. If you think the Veridian Room is hard, try Mysteries of Time and Space. If the puzzle doesn't drive you nuts, the music surely will.
  3. Human nature being what it is, I've watched them, and I would again. It's partly to learn from them, and party that same thing that makes rubbernecking car crashes so appealing. If you want to see some, and a lot of other sick stuff, go to http://www.ogrish.com It's not for the faint of heart though. I've seen enough of them in real life without actually going and searching them out though.
  4. You're his wife, not his pet. Your freedom to pursue your interests is not granted at his whim. Tell him you're going so he might as well get used to it. It's a control issue on his part. If you don't retrain him out of that behavior, you'll wind up filing for divorce.
  5. And this list is hereby closed for now I would say. Not because I don't want to jump with you all, but because a 16 way ia all that we can initially do, as that's the capacity of the PAC750 once you add a video. Also, we would like to complete this one, so let's get it out of the way, and if we need to make a change, we'll do it and repeat it, and if that works, well formation loads aren't out of the question. You'll all want to boogie too, so I doubt that you'll want to bang away at a dropzone.com dive all day. We'll start off from most experienced to least initially. Keep signing up for it though by all means. You never know who might change their mind, or go low on the first one
  6. I don't regard it as that simple really. I've been building and riding for 30 years now, and if I had the choice, I'd use a helmet in the city and for my commute, but not use it on the weekends for the long rides in the back country and the freeways. Your risks are way lower in those circumstances for the type of cruising that I do. Most motorcyle accidents occur at intersections. You virtually never see a bike down on a freeway, and if you do, it's never a cruiser type. If you're going to ride a sportbike, wear a helmet. If you want to plod along in the country on a 60 year old Knucklehead, a do rag is all I require. I just wish that the state would allow me to make that decision with proof of adequate medical coverage, like some others do.
  7. It's Lemmy, Phil Campbell on guitar, and Mikkey Dee on Drums. I saw this line up last year and they were the best I've ever seen them. Mikkey Dee is one of the best drummers I've seen anywhere, period. Phil Campbell been with them for the last 20 odd years. They are playing your way probably. Check out http://www.imotorhead.com for current tour dates.
  8. Now departed from the dear old 'Head. Actually playing occaisionally with a friend of mine's band nowadays. IMHO, Motorhead just never looked or sounded right as a four piece. For those of you that aren't going, or are not familiar with the world's greatest rock band, just stick your head inside a jet engine for 40 minutes to recreate the experience of a full red-eyed Motorhead gig. Then go buy an overpriced T-Shirt. Ha, Ticketmaster just replied. got my tix for the main floor, unreserved. no seats. Perfect.
  9. They have been my favorite for 16 years. I just saw them in Dallas right up in the front row! 4th time I have seen them, second time in the front Did a UK tour with them in 1979. The drummer was an absolte asshat. Robert Smith was Ok, and the bass player was a great guy. They sacked him though.
  10. At the Warfield - San Francisco, $25 I'm there, who's with me ? You can lie in Sunday, you won't need your ears then.
  11. Here's COlin. I found him abandoned as a month old under the Sunshine Factory in Z Hills. He had been eaten by a car engine fan belt. I had him mended and he's been my little shadow ever since for the last 10 years.
  12. Never Mind The Bollocks - Sex Pistols The Ramones - The Ramones Ace of Spades - Motorhead Can't stand The Rezillos - The Rezillos XTC - White Music
  13. That sucks ass plain and simple. Indian Larry was my favorite builder. No one built bikes with heart and soul quite like him. One of the last bunch of true outlaws and originals. He's irreplacable. R.I.P. Larry. Ride free forever.
  14. Heh heh. Fox is to News, what Bob Dorman was to mental health. Having grown up in the UK, I was already well versed in the Rupert Murdoch empire. I get my news from the BBC these days. Might actually get some decent coverage of something that happens outside of the US there. BTW. I didn't eat my penis in a bagel. I placed in in a bagel. There is a difference you know. My girlfriend understands this luckily.
  15. I never met her, but I feel I've grown to know her a little through the posts here. Continue to be the people that she liked. That should be her legacy to you all. BSBD.
  16. Hey, I may not be able to reach the end, but I can bang the hell out of the sides.
  17. My penis. Lorena pay you a visit last night? Nope. My bagel has a hole in it. I'm finished with it now though. You want a bite ?
  18. Wow, you like the ramones? I guess you are kinda cool after all... I am extremely cool as you well know. For me, as I get older, there are only three bands in the world. Motorhead The Ramones Bon Scott era AC/DC And occaisionally the Sex Pistols.
  19. Congratulations. I can't go to the shelter, because I know that I'd come home with an armful of cats, and my old cat is set in his ways these days, and not up to the task of raising a kitten or two. I sometimes go to the mobile SPCA booth on Market Street in San Francisco some stressful work days for some fuzz therapy though.
  20. Because like the rest of us, he was busy living. I ride every day in the some of the worst traffic in the nation. I have been hit twice in the last three years. I love it, and I've been riding too long to give it up. If you ride, it's like jumping, you do it because you love it and it makes you that little more alive. Hopefully, your friend didn't even realise what happened, and the sun just came out for him , and road went on forever. My condoloences to you for your loss. Remember him for how he lived, not how he died. We can really do no more than hold on to them in our memories that way.
  21. I don't bother going there any more. It's like watching the Special Olympics. It doesn't matter who wins, they're all retarded. If I want to see knee jerk stupidity, I'll watch Fox News.
  22. It's not so much a case of not caring, as a defense mechanism for a lot of people. If you spent that much energy caring that hard all the time, you wouldn't be able to function normally, let alone jump. When I was managing Z Hills, I hard to learn to switch off a lot of times after an accident or fatality, because I wouldn't have been able to do all the stuff that I needed to without doing so. I've had to watch friends breath their last on the ground, and do the body and gear inspections more time than I want to remember. We're dealing with a sport that offers great thrills and community. The price we pay for that is the risk of serious injury or death every time we indulge in it. As a group, we internalize that risk, and put it out of our minds. It's only when the inevitable happens, and just like every other kind of accident, it is inevitable eventually, that we get to concentrate on the bottom line and the consequences of an activity that is basically suicidal, but that we take for granted. To a certain extent, we revel in that danger, and for many, overcoming that fear gives us condifence in ourselves that we carry into the rest of our lives. The best thing an accident or fatality can teach us, is that we always walk that line, and to always remember where it lies.
