Ok, I know there has got to be a list of suggestions and what you should get but, here it goes. I've got a little over 1800 jumps and have been using a contour and GoPro (Contour for video and GoPro for pictures) on my "NORMAL" jumps. I would like to do a bit more video jumping and have priced out a camera wing jacket. What should I expect on the wing and what should I avoid? I like the article. NOTE: I've had two cut-a-ways (1800 or so jumps) and both were spinning malfunctions. I have gone away from a RSL when I went to the elliptical canopy.

I know this has had to be talked about before. I was hoping someone would have the skinny on the best video camera suggestions. I know GoPro is very popular but I also know they have a tendency to get "KNOCKED OFF". I was thinking of something low profile. I normally do RD and fly a Samurai 120. Suggestions? Thanks. I have to ask myself why did Zimmerman "LEAVE" Florida? Was it because he felt threatened with the $1,000,000.00 Reward on his head put there by the Black Panthers? No, that would not be it. Could it be because of the "EDITED" tape NBC put out? No, that would not be it. Could it be that the President made a comment about Martin looking like his son, if he had one? No, that would not be it. Could it be because a Congresswoman gave a speech on how Zimmerman Stalked and killed Martin like a wild animal? No, that is not it. Could it be the numerous death threats against him? No that would not be it. I wonder why Zimmerman left Florida? With all that, does anyone think Zimmerman will get a fair and impartial trial? The American "LEGAL" system is far from "JUSTICE". This case has been tried by and found guilty by: 1. President, 2. Congress, 3. News Media (NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC). The prosecution wants a 2nd degree murder conviction on Zimmerman. Guess what, it will not happen. They should have charged Zimmerman with Manslaughter. As it is, he will walk and there will be riots all across America (If the LEGAL system is in place). As for Justice, Only two people know what really went on during that night. The evidence for what Zimmerman has said what happened, supports it. All else will be conjecture and "HINDSIGHTING" by the arm chair "LAWYERS". To many times people do stupid stuff and get away with it. The whole night for Zimmerman and Martin was bad judgement. It all comes down to: Following someone is legal. Beating them up is not. Why is the USPA making it more difficult for new jumps to enter the sport? As a coach, I understand the need for training and staying proficient. The problem I see, if you have checked the incidents, is the "Sky Gods" (1000 plus jumper). Most if not all of the canopy collisions have been with the most experienced jumpers. We need to Check Ourselves when jumping. Take responsibility instead of blaming everything and everyone else for the mistakes we make not only in skydiving but in life. Vent over. Another great day. Started off with the Olympic rings. Great photo shot. Got it good the first jump and NAILED it on the second. Jumps three, four and five were interesting.... Jumps five, Ask Louie about it..... :D Sandy bottomed out and may be very sore tomorrow with a slight landing error. He walked away but I know will sore in the am.
