    That was a way good decision to quit the smokes. Thats something you owe to yourself. There is a bright side to this - you are a member of the skydiving community. Unlike most other interests, our community extends well past the DZ. You know that if you needed help with your full remodel, half the jumpers at your DZ would probably do what they can to help you out. Skydiving always somes second these days. Get what ya need done, then you can have all the time in teh world and all your funds to jump. You've got another 50 years of jumping left - no fire around here.     Do what you have to do. I think all skydivers have been their at one point or another - especially the University Students. Missing WFFC isn't the biggest deal. I still hold my opinion that Freaks is still better newayz. Hey, have you ever thought of the money you could save by abstaining from alcohol all together???? More money for jumping - worth it to me.     At first it seems like a good deal- but just be carefull about buying gear online. Unlike Buying other merchandise or sporing equipment online, buy skydive equipment can be much more complicated. Personally, i wouldn't buy anything that my rigger has personally inspected and that i haven't test jumped. You run the risk of paying however much for it and then getting a lemon.     I think it is needed. I know the counter arguments- how it impedes our elders mobility and makes them more dependant, but on the motorway, we need to put safety first. It scares me to think that there are people out there driving like my bosses mom, - 91, bearly able to open a door by herself. She is a danger to herself and other motorists. =========Shaun ==========

    Velcroless - no Questions. Before when i had Velco toggles on my Dolphin, the velcro was beginning to gently fray the lines when stowed. Furthermore, the velcro needs to be replaced after every 300 or so jumps. To me, that is a lot of Maintenance. blue Skies, =========Shaun ==========

    Thanks for the ideas. I am in a situation where I don't know the level of committent from one member at our DZ, and sitting down for a fireside chat would bring some issues into the light. This is especially hard when my home DZ is basically a Freefly DZ - not many people interested in goold old-fashioned 4 ways. =========Shaun ==========

    Thanks for that information - It helped a lot. Seems like it never made sense to me, but i guess it doesn't make that much sense in the first place - from the perspective of a DZO. Probably not a profession that i want to pursue. =========Shaun ==========

    I've been playing around with the Idea of formng a RW team for some time now, it's time to stop thinking about it and just do it. I am trying to form a Kansas State University RW team to take to Collegiates (sp?). I am puttig together a pool of Relative workers at KSU who would be interested - and finding experienced Relative workers who would be willing to coach us. I know a lot of you have been here before.
