    Argh, I need to vent and this seems like an appropriate place to do it...... I love DZ.com. I think it's absolutly amazing the brother/sisterhood shared between skydivers and the lengths we go for each other. Since I've become a Jumper, I feel like I belong the the greatest Family in the world!

    I have never heard of a Beech99 used as a Jumpship. Those are the only Commercial Aircraft we Fly out of Manhattan International, & I've always wondered if they would make a good jumpship... =========Shaun ==========

    Understand that the problem you are running into is not a policy issue of that certain DZ - Most Reserve Canopies & Containers are certified to certain weight limitations. The people who I have met in your weight range have had to really jump through hoops to get into the air, often times requiring them to buy their own equipment (retired Military HALO rigs or custom Sport Rigs) for their first jumps. It is not uncommon to see a large jumper jumping a modified tandem rig. I know that JumpShack can make sport canopies and a Sport Container for your weight, but then you have to ask yourself how far are you willing to go? =========Shaun ==========
