  1. Don't worry, there is plenty Bettina-ass to go around! I mean that in a good way!
  2. Here is a link to pictures from my videos from the weekend. Mostly of the one on one coaching jumps, but I thought people might like to see them. http://www.badfishfreefly.com/gallery/coaching_virginia/coaching_virginia_index.htm
  3. Looked a bit abrupt for a carve on rears. You can definitely see how it kills your canopy and ends your swoop in a hurry. Just be careful. A little more of an abrupt input on the rears and you could stall the canopy entirely. Not a good thing at that point of your swoop. Looked nice and smooth up to that point. You can be very aggressive with rear carves, I would just try to make the input smoother and less abrupt. Nice video though! My two cents.
  4. I don't really TRY. It's just that you girls are all so damn sweet!
  5. I could be wrong, but I thought I read somewhere that she was doing a 270 toggle turn. That is why I was curious if it was just a bad turn that happened to be 270 degrees, or actually an attempt at a high performance landing.
  6. What a beautiful and captivating smile! I pray that God will be with her and guide her to a full recovery.
  7. I can see someone using toggles to do a 90 degree turn when just learning their canopy. But to be at the point of attempting a 270 high performance landing and still using toggles, just doesn't jive.
  8. Am I to understand correctly that she was actually attempting a high performance landing using a 270 degree toggle turn? I have never seen someone move to 270 degree finals and do it using toggles. If you are at the level in canopy piloting where you are doing 270s, you should definitely be of the experience level to know that toggles just don't make sense. One of the first things one should learn in moving to high performance landings is the carving front riser turn. How does someone get to the point at which they are trying 270s and still using toggles? Or was this just a general turn that was not intended to be high performance?
  9. Thank you VSG! I definitely wasn't drunk, but since it was taken about 10 minutes after I woke up, I think it was that sleep deprivation Bettina was talking about.
  10. I am not "on his Kool-Aid." I was trying to pay him a compliment.
  11. Thank YOU Bettina! I had a blast! I too was sad to leave and absolutely can't wait until we can play together again!
  12. I couldn't agree more! And I DID get to sip red wine with her! Ok, so maybe 'sip' isn't the right word.
  13. Man, WrongWay, you are one lucky son of a bitch to have weege so into you! I am jealous! Hi weege!
  14. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone at SDV for having me down! It was great to meet and jump with all of you and make new friends! Thank you, Bettina for all of your hard work to make the weekend such a success! You rock girl! Hope to see you all real soon!
  15. Well dammit! I MUST get out there to jump with you girls!
  16. I do the same. I almost always pull higher than most and hang in brakes until the airspace is clear, or atleast not congested. If I HAVE to get down first, I will, but as a rule I give the right away to the canopies that are flying conventional patterns and go out of my way to look out for them.
  17. Doing an intentional cutaway because you want to is one thing. Requiring someone to do one is quite another. I will agree with most of what you are saying, but my reply was to an intentional cutaway as a requirement.
  18. Sorry 'bout that! You should have came up to jump with me!
  19. I hear that! And just so you know- your favorite pink canopy is now officially retired! R.I.P Pinky
