Me neever!!!
-
Yup- I am married to a wonderful woman who doesn't jump at all. I met her when I was her tandem instructor. She mad like 15 jumps and that was enough for her to prove that she could do it for herself, and also to see that it wasn't something she wanted to do as a sport. But it also gave her an understanding of it as well which is extremely important. I think it is really quite simple. She fell in love with me for who I am. Who I am has alot to do with this sport and the people in it. I am not the same person without it. She loves me for that person I am. She understands that she is in love with Chris, the skydiver, not Chris who jumps out of planes once in awhile. When things started progressing in our relationship, I sat her down and had a talk. I made her understand that this is who I am and this is who she is getting involved with. She has been wonderful! Totally supportive of it all. If she really loves you for who you are, and who you are has alot to do with your skydiving, then she will accept it. Even embrace it, be thankful for it. But never resent it. If she does resent it, then she doesn't really care about who you are, but wants you to be something you are not. Plain and simple: If you find the right person, it will work, Skydiver or not. It is a give/take relationship no matter who you are, skydivers or not. As long as you are willing to make some compromises and include them in your life wholely, and they truly love you for who you are, it can be a beautiful fulfilling realtionship. It CAN work. The girl you speak of resented your skydiving from the start. A situation like that will never work. Don't ever fool yourself that it can. It really is a nice balance for me. It may not work for everyone, but I am here to tell you it can work. I love my situation. I met her as a skydiver and haven't slowed down. I dated her for a year, and have been married for over 3 years.

No, no, don't listen to her! Get the small! And send pictures!

Exactly why I said this:

What exactly does the "just checkin" test involve? Whatever you want it to! But in this particular case, all I did was pause, think about Rosa, and realize that yes, she IS still a doll indeed!
-
Yes, that is a possibility. I meant no photoshop on my end.
-
Just checkin'............ Yup, she still is!
-
Well then, I am certainly glad I made that comment!
-
Nope- no Photo Shop. Check out the NY Post today. That is the picture! I could hardly believe it when I saw it! Freaked me out!
-
What is with Nicolette Sheridan's hands?? I took this picture out of the NY Post today. Do they look freaky to anyone else? She looks straight out of the Seinfeld "Man Hands" episode!

Honey is nicer, cause you have to suck harder to get it off I'll keep that in mind for when I want to suck on something and will use the whip cream for when I want to lick something. Holy moly, ladies! Stop it! No wait...... keep going!
-
Honey is nicer, cause you have to suck harder to get it off Whoa! I just got really excited! Might have even let out an audible whimper!
-
You got it!

One hug double, coming right up!
-
So...I get a hug first since you like giving out hugs and the "wee" ones and then a wrestling match, huh? Yeah, that sounds good to me! Or we can just hug double!
-
I'm game!
-
Teacher's pet!
-
[quoute]Thank you Chris. You can come and hug ME anytime! Sweet! I will take you up on that offer! I LOVE HUGS!!

A broken control line. Its nice practice for that scenerio. I understand that. I was more curious on a "for the fun of it" level. I do believe landing on rears is a skill everyone should atleast have some knowledge about. Whether or not they actually want to for a broken steering line is up to them. Personally, I will. I land on rears almost every jump and know I could bring it to a stop safely if I had/wanted to. Landing on them to a stop for the heck of it was really just something that never crossed my mind. Interesting.
-
Ok. I'll buy that. That's all I was wondering. I wasn't implying that it was stupid or anything, was just curious. I like the idea of it collapsing behind you though!
-
I could land on rears too, but I don't see the point. Just because I can? I am being serious. Is there a reason one would land on rears to a stop?
-
Why?

Nope- still not following you. Need pictures. -
No, it is not out of reach for them. The NFC isn't the strongest side either. If you look at the NFC, the Eagles still have a team that can go all the way, even without T.O. And I am not worried about the AFC, cuz that means the Eagles would be in the Super Bowl! And we may have T.O. back for that. So you are right. It is not completely over. Just alot more of an uphill battle.
